Benefits of Registration
Images that are mostly text / no photos and no 'map' type content really should use GIF format [edit: or perhaps PNG?].
If so, the text in the image above would be much more readable. The image could then either be a much smaller filesize, or (my preference) the same filesize but a larger resolution.
Hopefuly it's not Curse reformatting pictures people are uploading...
