Hello. I'm currently worried about future problems with another user on curse.

Recently i've been working hard at developing an addon, to be honest, my first addon to actually work as it should. I put it up through curseforge, and it went live on the site. 3 Days after the launch of my addon, someone took it, modifed the color of a flash, and then said the addon was theirs, and posted it up as well with the same name.

I reported it for copyright violation and theft of my addon as it was pretty clear to see. I suppose curse.com administration agreed because later that day they removed the addon for me, and I was thankful.

Then the next day, he attempted to post it on WoWinterface, same issue, I posted my despute and it was taken care of.


That same day, (I assume before he noticed that curse.com removed his addon), he sen't me this:






Now this user, has sent me a private message with the following lie-filled threat, after realizing what the curse.com administration did.

(Work with people? He downright took my addon and called it his own. I would have gladly accepted help on improving my work, but I will not tolerate thievery)

So the reason I'm posting here today is that I am concerned that this child might actually convince someone with his lies that I am using any of his code?

Oh and if you'd enjoy a laugh, he actually posted my addon's code on wowinterface forums attempting to get help saying it wouldn't work after he changed a part of it. I found that quite humerous.


I realize that nobody wan't to have to deal with this type of drama, but I am concerned.  I would appreciate any help or advice.

I removed the addon by Darkmystress.  On review it was a near line by line copy.  If anyone is talking with DarkMystress please refer them to me.
