Keylogger

So...my WoW account was just banned for exploiting the economy (goldselling, basically). I download my addons ONLY from curse. In fact, I only download them through the curse client, but I still feel like one of them must have a keylog.

For anything WoW related, I'm either at the official website, curse, or wowhead. So the only way I can see a keylogger getting on to my system is through one of my curse downloads. I decided I'd provide a list of my addons:

*That's the ONLY one I've never used before and the only addon that didn't work very well. So my suspicions point to SCT-Damage. I figured the list might be helpful for curse to possibly investigate the current integrity of these files so that nobody else gets fucked. I'm trying to get Bliz to restore my account but we'll see how well that goes... :(

Installation failed

Getting the message:

Curse client was unable to copy the files in the installtion folder. This can occur if the files are in use, or you dont have full permission to the destination folder.

But im the admin! Manually installation works, but not with the client.

Can´t search anything in curse v4

I have a big problem with curse v4. I Installed WoW and now curse and now i wan´t to search addons, but curse doesn´t find any addons ... nothing ...

Whats the problem, don´t know :(

I am running Mac OS X version 10.6 and i cnt get my curse client to work. When i tried to log in it said this. What should i do?

[Bug] Curse Client Repeatable Crash

Hi there,

I'm using the Curse Client Premium on four machines - two home machines running Windows 7 Ultimate and Vista Ultimate respectively, my MacBook Pro with Windows 7 Ultimate, and my work machine using Windows 7 Ultimate, and whenever I go to Start->Shutdown, I always get a message that the Curse Client has crashed on all of the machines listed above. It won't crash if I exit Curse - but it will always crash when Windows sends it a shutdown message.

Just wanted to report that in case it hadn't been yet. I tried to use the "Report Client Bug" in the Client itself, but it takes me to a 403 Forbidden page with the error:

We're sorry, you've attempted to access a page that you're not allowed to access.

If you find this to be in error, please notify the administrators.

Cannot access curse.com

A friend of mine has been using curse for a while now. For some reason lately, like the last month or so, when he types in www.curse.com using either mozilla or IE. Mozilla says that the server cannot be found, and in IE it says that the page cannot be displayed. Tried refreshing dozens of times but all with the same result. I have tried to help him with clearing temp internet files, cookies and resetting web settings in both firefox and IE, this help a little. Now the website comes up but all he sees is the text of the website in one big paragraph, this happens in both IE and firefox. We are both using IE7 and Firefox 3.5.

He also says that somedays it works with no problems. We both use the same ISP and I have no problems accessing the website, we have talked to other people on wow that say they have no trouble at all either. One other thing he is using Vista 32bit and I am using XP Media Center 32bit. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this, any other steps that could resolve this.

Also, went through his firewall settings and added www.curse.com to the allowable outgoing connectinos, did the same in IE and firefox for allowed websites.

It keeps giving me an error

So, I recently joined Curse so I could download the Curse Client for WoW addons. But, whenever I try logging into Curse it keeps giving me the same error message: "Operation could not be completed. (ERROR: InvalidPassword. Please try again. error 0.)". Help? I have tried with both, my email, AND my username.

Curse keeps reinstalling itself

I recently updated to the v4 client and do not like it. I uninstalled it, but it tries to reinstall itself every time I reboot. Help pls!!

Ads Opening in IE

Hello,

I just wanted to report that when clicking an ad in the basic curse client, it will open in Internet Explorer, rather than the default browser.

Clicking on the "Website" button on an addon's details panel works correctly.

Ads are the only problem, and with the multitude of Internet Explorer security issues, it's just better safe than sorry when it comes to clicking ads.

Healbot 3.2.2.6 bug

As a Holy priest with points in "Body and Soul," I should be able to get rid of poisons with Abolish Disease.

I have noticed that if I have my settings on "Save unique spells for each spec" checked OFF, I am able to see poisons in my holy spec, and, smartly, unable to see them in my disc spec.

If I check "save unique spells for each spec" ON, then I am unable to see poisons altogether, even though I'm not ignoring anything under the Cure tab.

E-mail not working w/ sweepstakes

I just tried entering the sweepstakes to win the new Razer naga gaming mouse. For somereason the E-mail i used to make my Curse account isn't working with the sweetstakes it said it was a invalded e-mail, any chance you guys might beable to resolve the problem w/o me making a new e-mail because i bearly check mine now >.>

With Curse client4 it's a ccip file, how do I open these files?

The quest sharing "bug" is a total ****aroo, group play is a ******* pain in the ass now.

And WHAT is with it STILL not showing so many quests...namely The Riders line in Icecrown? The more things change, the more they suck...at least with QH.

Hello, Ive been trying for some time now to get curseclient to work but to no Avail. I can download the addons, get constant notification f their updates etc, but none of them show in WoW. Its as If ive never downloaded them. Is the path wrong for where they are being stored? Any help is appreciated, Thankyou

Cannot load Client

I cannot load the client. I keep getting the message "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor. "

I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I think the problem is the client is running on 32 bit and cannot be read by the 64 bit system. Could that be the problem? is there a 64 bit version of the client? If not, then I will have to cancel my Premium account since I am updating my mods one by one manually.
