I was going to check it out, looked like it would be a fun game, but found this on the donwload page:

So, have to pick another. But if you are able to play this one, I think the Force archer would be one of the better ones to play. =)

Overview

Heroes of Gaia may seem a lot like Heroes of Might and Magic at first glance but the differences are easily felt when you see how the formula is taken further as gameplay is fused with the dynamics of an online community. The ease of playing Heroes of Gaia is made apparently clear when you try to start playing the game. The first thing that strikes you when you see your Castle is that this is a very good looking game. The art is fantastic and very few browser games, if any, have such pleasing visuals. In your Castle, there are five critical resources: Wood, Lumber, Ore, Sulphur and Crystal. All of these are needed to construct buildings or train units, and they increase at an hourly rate inside the game. By gaining experience and leveling up, your resource output will increase gradually so you can eventually build a formidable fortress and assemble a massive army.

For now though, you will end up with one Hero and a handful of units after completing the beginner tutorial. You can now go out and beat up some beasties.

The world map will instantly strike a nostalgic chord with longtime PC gamers, and still delight new players with its pleasant graphics. You can arrange for your Hero to head out of the Castle to attack monsters, get resources, trigger special events and engage in PK. Due to it being an online game, the Hero’s journey outwards is measured in time, and the Hero must necessarily return to the Castle after every task. Rumors are that Snail Game are planning to allow the Hero to be able to stay outside the Castle, which makes it even more like Heroes of Might and Magic.

You can choose to automate or manually control the battles in Heroes of Gaia. The option to automate battles is a big plus because of its nature as a browser game. Players need not constantly pay attention to the game and can leave it to run on another window while they chat or work. All battles must complete in less than 3 minutes, which is another plus in terms of how quick and accessible this game is. The graphics and animation in the battle are also outstanding, and very quickly you forget that this is really just a browser game.

Heroes of Gaia is leading the way for browser games of the future. In a time where most browser games are mostly text-based, offer rudimentary graphics or are just casual games, Heroes of Gaia is a full-fledged MMORPG that has been technically reengineered for the browser. Because of this technological innovation and the choice of the free-to-play revenue model, it would have taken you less time to try it out than the time you spent reading this article.

Just was checking out a few more games, and discovered that this company, Kru Interactive Games, wants to have a credit card to play for 3 out of its 4 games, which are these 3 here: Dark Ages, Nexus TK, Shattered Galaxy.

This is 2nd paragraph that you see on thier Terms of Service agreement.

And thier 4th game, which hasn't made it out yet, Knuckleball Online, so fare hasn't been listed to require a credit card yet.

So, I just wanted to make sure people were aware of that before hand, and to be honest, the 3 games are really really out dated anyhow, so its better to go play the newer and better ones. :) The 2 Fantasy RPG's look like they are using the same graphics as the original Dragon Warrior series games that they had for the first Nintendo game systems, but they just made it bigger. lol

I was amazed to hear about Atlantica Online, a F2P MMORPG that has this turn-based battle system (a 1st) while at the same time has these new features that I haven't seen in other MMORPGs. I'm talking about the game's goverment system feature, in which guildmasters can control towns, regarding it's policies relating to security, culture, industry and ect., you can even plan for constructions of buildings as well. And if your successful enough you can even create your own nation from aligning yourself to leagues of fellow guildmasters.

For those of you looking for a new F2P MMORPG, I suggest checking this game out. I havent seen a game this good for quite some time.

If you like fantasy MMORPG and you are looking for a free one Shaiya is the game for you! In this game you can choose to join the Alliance of Light (Humans & Elves) or the Union of Fury (Vails & Deatheaters) and you can also choose between six characters with distinctive features. There are four different mode in this game: Easy, Normal, Hard and Ultimate; in Easy mode you can level up very quickly but you cannot progress over level 30, so I suggest to begin with Normal mode. To begin Hard mode you have to get level 40 with a Normal mode character: in this mode your character will be stronger but you’ll need more time to level up. Similarly Ultimate mode is available only if you already have a character at level 40 in Hard mode: in this mode the character is the strongest but who die in Ultimate mode will be deleted if not resurrected within 3 minutes. Hello guys! I just want to share my personal review of Atlantica Online. I just really like the game so I decided to create this post so other MMO players will see how this game came to be my latest MMO addiction lolz.

It’s a free to play MMORPG which is unique in many ways. For one is that the game introduces this new turn-based battle system which is unlike your typical MMOs that is hack-and-slash type, which I also personally find dull and repetitive.

Another awesome feature that this game has is the political aspect. It allows guild masters to govern towns, and eventually form a country. Decisions will be made by the guild master on various aspect of the town from security, culture, and economics that have direct implications about that town or country.

Also, the in-game economy is craft based that will guarantee a real in-game supply and demand, to the extent that items/gold will have real good value and will be worth playing.

Atlantica Online, although have an Item Mall, they only sell items which are not that rare and can be obtained through normal play (without needing to spend money). It really does not matter if you choose to spend money or not, just to enjoy the game.
