I have a mod request if anyone is interested.

A friends list mod that:
1) Keeps track of all your characters
1b) May keep track of their giuild, level, last known location, class, etc
2) Quietly announce to all your friends your characters on login (them or you)
3) Group all of a players characters into a category (possibly collapseable)
4) Always show a players currently logged in character
4b) Allow Hiding of a players characters that are not logged on..

The main reasons for this requests are:
- Keeping the friends list short and sweet. Only listing characters belonging to 1 account as 1 item in the friends list.
- Not needing to know each character of a friend, and not having to add new characters to your friends list for old friends.

Another feature that could also be included is for a stealth mode option to be added to one or multipule of your charcters, so that they don't brodcast to your friends.

AuidLangSyne just keeps additional notes on friends and syncs them between all your characters.

I am looking for someting that also groups all of one players characters into 1 item in the friends list.. So if you have 8 friends with 8 characters, your friends list only has 8 friends, not 64. And the friends list will show which of the 8 characters of each friend is currently logged on.

If anyone has played Guild Wars. Something like that would be perfect.

Carbonite does almost everything you ask for. It keeps both a "Pals" and a "Friends" list. Friends are character-specific, but Pals are across all your toons, faction permitting.
