I would love to discover (or have some savy programmer create) a recipe organizer for all the recipes we accumulate in our respective professions.  For example - some color co-ordination wehreby blues can be put in a separate window, a window for those worthless recipes we purchased just to level but no one in their right mind would ever make again!!! a window for the bind on pickup stuff (just to save on those idiot moves when we accidently make it only to notice after that we can't sell it or send it to our alt anyway). Oh - and even being able to tag certain items in regards to their usefulness for our alts ie. rings for our mage vs rings for our warrior. . .

Is there such an addon already in existence?

If not  -  anyone feel a driving need to make one??   I'm sure it would be a hit with the gamers (pun intended)

It isn't exactly what you want, but AdvancedTradeSkillWindow or LilSparky's branch of Skillet (I would use ATSW) gives much better organization that the default tradeskill UI. Plus it adds some other great features.

With Advanced Trade Skill Window you can create custom groups to sort you lists by.

You might also want Ackis Recipe List – shows you the recipes you don't have, and where to get them. Highly customizable to show certain rep, levels, etc, etc.
