Since someone already started a thread on what class people will play, it's only logical to now ask what faction or race people will play, Asmodian or Elyos.

I for one really, really like the Asmodian and will most definitely play one. With their dark skin, glowing eyes, clawed feet they are a really cool looking!

In the beta, maybe elyos just to see the other side of things, but I think when things get real we'll be on the asmo side.

I'll join the dark side of the force so Asmodian! :)

Also?  Storyline-wise, the Asmodians seem less selfish lol.  When you do the beginning quests, the Asmos are all about "RAWR we r tuff n stuff yar, btw be careful we worry about you"

Glowing red eyes when you engage combat.......Asmo for sure!!

Asmo scout for sure :P plus from these past 2 betas im likeing their side of quests.

I'm definitely going to have to go with the 'dark' side here as well, the cookies are too hard to resist. Asmodians it is!

I will choose Asmodian because of a couple different reasons:

1). From what I have been reading the advantage over more damage power, where as Elyos has more healing...I will take damage anyday.

2). I love the black wings with the glowing purple, that is just awesome.

3). I used to play the good side of all games I played, here lately I am finding more fun in the dark side factions then the good side.

Wellll. I really wanted to go Asmodian, but I think I will be going Elyos due to the population balance. Has to be people like me, I guess *shrug*. I'm sure farming areas for Elyos are going to be less packed! ^.^.

Going elyos ranger with a bunch of friends since far too many people are going asmo. Would much rather have somebody to shoot whenever i want! Hopefully there will be some form of balance in the abyss so we dont just get farmed by huge numbers.

Eylos get crit bonuses instead of flat damage afaik, at least the ranger does i think.
