Cartographer Issue

im having a problem with cartographer announcing annoying stuff in my guild chat. how do i stop it?

i have the latest version of cartographer WAU has to offer and it doesn't announce anything to the guild

try maybe turning off Cartographer and playing the game to see if the annoucments are still happening i'm pretty sure it isn't Cartographer in less it's a extra additional module for it

i have disabled it many times because it continually broadcasts on my guild chat.

Sounds more like the Settings in you chat window have show addon chatter turned on. I don't remember what the setting is, I just know it is in there.

I seriously doubt it is Cartographer itself; as I said, more likely a chat window setting.

i have the same problem and i'm sure that cartographer is the spamer, cause i disable all my adons, one by one, and after disable carto the spam stoped

What plug ins for Cartographer are you using. I guess plug ins like NoteShare are broadcasting all the time. Also there is the functionality that shows your location on the map for other guild members with Cartographer. It should have a private channel though.

Do you happen to have a large number of private chat channels? For as far as I know, 10 chat channels is the maximum, when you have those 10 and then enable Cartographer, it can't get his own private channel and will just use guild channel instead.

Try disabling NoteShare and / or the location functionality and check again for the spam.
