ArlynWhat I request is if someone can make me an addon, or let me know if there is such an addon out there already (must be updated). What I am looking for is an addon that takes those annoying text smileys and transform them, not into graphic smileys, but to emotes. Most of the common smileys have its emote equivalent, but there are often variations on each smiley, how people make it, and there is also other emoticons. An addon that translate :) or :-) as /smile, :D or :-D as /laugh, etc. It would be excellent if it can target emotes if target is chosen. It would be great if it can convert any outgoing smileys to emotes, and translate incoming smileys to an emote-like line. I know this would only work if the smiley is alone, but if a smiley appear inline, maybe it can be changed/edited to i.e. *smiles*.
