Still no luck! :(

I ran into this problem with a guild mate. They ended up deleting the whole "interface" folder and creating a new one with the "addons" folder inside and the individual addon folders inside that. After that the AddOn's button appear on the character screen. It was an vista related issue for him.
Vista SP1 is now available and if you have it should probably download it to help solve a lot of these problems.

CrazyeskimoI've looked at every post on this forum and i still cant get my addons to work!
My mate (who uses addons) has even come around my house and doesn't understand why it doesn't work! iv done everything as i was instructed and put everything in the right place, and tryed with 8 different addons. The problem is that when i go on to the character screen the "AddOns" button is not there! Is anyone else getting this or can anyone please suggest something?
