Re-debuff
as far as i know, this won't be possible (or safe) until patch 2.4 when the combat log gets revamped. As of now, there's no way for an addon to identify mobs by anything that keeps track of which one you're talking about if there are multiple mobs with the same name near you. So say you're keeping track of DoTs on a Durotar Hellboar or whatever, and another one comes close to you. If we use the graphic you posted, clicking to refresh the DoT on the Hellboar you're fighting could possibly get confused and put the DoT on the new Hellboar that just walked into range. This could lead to wipes in an instance (where trash pulls very often involve multiple mobs with the same name). You can do this now in a more limited way (you can keep track of your target and a focus), where you could keep track of DoTs on two mobs/people, as long as one was your target and the other was your focus. You can do this with macros, currently.
Once 2.4 hits, and the more informative combat log comes into play, your addon idea might be possible, and if so, will probably be awesome.
NOTE: I could be wrong about what I said, but from what I know, it's accurate info.
Frumpy is right. There is *NO* way for WoW to make a differentiation between a mob A and B provided they have the same name-example Hellboar A and B. Through macros and the focus frame, you could write macros that would automatically target your focus, cast spell X, then go back to your primary target. This would effectively enable you to do 2 things at once. If you were using something like Clique that did click casting, you could then have your target, the focus target and the MT targets from either CTRA, ORA, etc. An addon like NECB or DotTimer would then be able to show you how your dots are clicking along with you won't be able to refresh them as easy as you want.

stevenazariHi - I am a lock and as our spells are majority dots, I want to know if there is a debuff monitor addon out there that shows debuffs in order of targets where the target is selectable and the debuffs will refresh by clicking on the debuff timer bar.
I've made a graphical demo of the idea and would be great if someone could come up with the answer, I wouldnt make claim to anything or expect my name printed anywhere - I just would love the idea to be made a reality!
