Recruiting Guild Members

I'm new to the game. I have a lvl 28 night elf hunter. I made a guild but now its hard getting people to join. So whats the best way to get people to join your guild?

for one, stop being new to the game. i'm half-joking. part of being a successful guild is having a guild leader who knows what he/she is doing. if you're new to the game yourself, you have a much more limited knowledge base, and might have a harder time recruiting new members than a guild that has some higher lvl characters, or at least some who have been playing the game for a while.

if it's not going well, you could keep trying to plug away, but i'd suggest finding another more established guild that's out there, with people that you like and respect in it, and merge. this basically involves your guild dissolving and all your members joining up with the other guild (unless both guilds dissolve in order to have a new guild name or something).

anyhow, sorry to not be more optimistic, but hope this is at least a little helpful.
