Pally vs. Rogue?

Okay, so I have a 70 holy paladin (my first 70), but he's missing alot of stuff. He's not honored with anyone yet, not enough gold for mount training, and still has mostly blues and a green or two. But his mining and engineering is maxed which is a plus.

I also have a 42 rogue, and I am thinking I might just make him my new main. I enjoy my rogue alot more but I dont know whats more sought after in end-game content- a healer pally or just another DPS.

Both are blood elves on a PvP server.

I just want some feedback on whether or not to play my paly, or start over and just ding 70 on my rogue. Thanks all!

If I were you I'd keep my pally as the main because I have experienced alot of groups looking for healers even kara pugs as well as ZA and pallies are excellent hybrid class in BGs if youre geared that is but I would also lvl the rogue if you enjoy playing him that much , you could alternate with either char depending your mood that day ..so if it were me...I'd play em both but keep the pally as the main it took that long to get him there so gear him up and enjoy ..this is from noobs perpective btw.

Yes i would have to agree with Islander you can start you rogue but keep you pally as your main and just get your epic mount then flying mount and get in a guild that is very helpful and that will help you get new gear, Like my guild takes new 70s and run them through kara to get them new gear that way not there not left out or any. But as Islander says make your rogue and have fun with it beings there great for BGs.

I got to agree. Join a good guild that will help you out. If you need money just farm for a while and you'll be set for your mount and stuff in no time.

I have a Holy Paladin... initially retribution but the guild needed a heal so I switched temporarily... I found I loved healing and the rest is history.

I still level other toons, for when I want to hide from the guild, play some DPS or just go back to questing!

The game has so much to offer and each class different. Go with what is most fun at the time, but definitely keep the products of all your time spent.

i got a 70 rogue. Its a pain in the ass to lvl and nobody wants you for end gaming because there are so many other rogues out there.

If i were you i think u'd be better off with your paladin since healers are always needed, especially if ur playing horde since the class is pretty new.

Your Pally will work for some sword banging survival as plate is tougher than leather. Be advised that your plate armor will cost you more to repair as you get better armor. (ie; Kara run 20-30g repair bill) thats with 8 epic gear pieces. With your rogue I would experiment with him went you make level 60. Try Stealth Talent build with shadowstep. Ain't nothing like the feeling of dropping a horde clothy in one shot. Heh
