Request Addon?

Hi Everyone! I'm here hoping one of you can help me with a rather urgent problem. Recently, My little brother has taken to deleting my World of Warcraft characters...

My parents insist we share an account, even though i pay for it. Anyways, he hardly ever plays- But if he can't log onto the account, he raises hell. So he has full access at all times.

He has no idea how AddOns work, so i was wondering if anyone could develop a Mod, Or point me to one! :) That will Hide the "Delete Character" Button whilst activated.

(P.S I need the "Delete Character" Button to actually be Removed from the screen, if it is just invisible but still there- He will find it :\.)

Sorry, Dont think this is possible. Since Addons aren't actually loaded until a character itself is loaded.

I see, Thanks- I never considered that.

...Hate to be a bother but can anyone think of an alternative? It's really annoying to finally get level 70 and log on to realise he has been deleted....

Just write a ticket to a GM and you will get your character back in no time, they are stored up to a year. You can also post your problem on the WoW forums, at the section called "In-Game Customer support"

Style is correct. Most . . and I stress MOST times, a GM can restore the character. The main issue is what status the toon will be restored at. Sometimes it's EXACTLY how it was at deletion, some times it's not. Sometimes it's in between like your gear and bags but no enchants on the gear.

Sadly, there is no way to block any button on the char screen because the LUA scripting is not engaged at that point.
