Why can't i log in?

I cannot log into the game. It won't even let me on the official site (www.worldofwarcraft.com) i have fixed me router and ran a virus scan and tried almost everything. What do i do?

If you happen to be in Northern California, wait. There's been some problems with the ISPs there.

Same goes for EU I think too - saw a post a few days ago about some routing issues there :(

Also, try not to start a line with a single space char - it reads it as a code block and stretches all our screens.

Hello, The cause of this may have been the server maintenance. However, whilst I was unable to login to the game during the maintenance, I was still able to login to the Official World of Warcraft Forums, and the main World of Warcraft website. Therefore, as stated above by Tarz, it may be a problem with your ISP. However, since you are able to access other websites, it is unlikely. I would try to send a ping to worldofwarcraft.com and see what the results are. I hope it gets fixed soon for you!
