Need some assistance

I have finally gotten a group of my buddies to join WoW, and of course they took all the great dps classes and such. There are two of us acting as the healers. Fresh chars and everything. However this is my first priest and I was wondering if anyone out there could give me a few pointers and tell me of some decent mods to use for someone who really has never used mods other than titan. I'd rather have someone who knows what they are doing give pointers because I am clueless and dont want to waste my comp space on mods that wont work, or are too buggy to do anything with. I've read up on some of the mods here, but to be honest they all sound greek to me. I'm sure thats because this is my first piest, but any help would be much appreciated

to be honest the only mod i would consider essential for priests would be KLHThreatMeter. and it's only any good if everyone in your group has it, there's really nothing you need to have as a priest and not really anything that will make healing any easier, blizzard has made it so that we actually have to work on what we're doing. However just to learn more about your spells and how different stats effect them you could look up mods like DrDamage that let you know how your +healing and +damage bonus' effect your spells.
