OK guys im a holy priest and currently im only running klh threat meter, natur enemy cast bar, and coords mod

Im looking at some new mods to help out my raiding and i hear that I should get deadly boss mod, and ct raid.

Im also thinking about getting atlas loot 2 and auction mod

Im not sure if i should wait to get the new patch b4 i get any of these mods or not, also wanna make sure that i get the right versions of them 2, and want to make sure that all of these will be compatible 2.

Also for ct mod, do What addons will i need for this 2

Im just pretty new to ui mods and a little input from some ppl would be nice.

Also im using a macro for morose but i heard there is a way to have a macro where i dont have to type in the name of the enemy on the macro everytime i raid, not sure how this workes either.

If u guys have any suggestions to any other mods i should get or any macros that would be a big help ty

well , it doesnt matter if you get the mods now or later , seeing that most last more than 1 patch as in terms of mods you could get the following

Deadly boss mods or big wings , both are mods which have timers for bosses and other handy stuff such as the trash before attunement respawn timer Ctraid , im supprised you havn't had this before , i recon you know what it does and its quite good imo alternatives is Ora , however i wouldnt try this if you have no clue about mods so far

Ctraid link :

Ora :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/6637/ora2/ (this is a pack)

bossmods :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/4940/deadly-boss-mods-la-vendetta/

Atlasloot is ofcourse a ingame loot browser , which is handy and sort of like a useless gadget in real life , its nice to have but don't really need it Auctionmod you could go for auctionneer , however this mod is heavy on memory so if you have a weaker pc i wouldnt recommend getting this (with weak i mean lack of memory or such) Links to mentioned mods :

Atlasloot :

Auctioneer :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/78/auctioneer/

now off to some optional mods , for example unitframes , i'm guessing you are still using your standard ones (Blizzard ones) although these are fine , personaly when i used them i overhealed a bit to much seeing that i have no clue how much healthpoints these people had (im a priest myself)

If you want to keep it easy and same look , you could go for CT_unitframes , which keeps alot the same but just shows health value's for a different looks i'd recommend AG_unitframes which are nice unitframes in my opinion with quite a few different layouts or you could take Xperl unitframes which also have an alternative look but are pretty nice aswell

Links for Unitframes mentioned :

Xperl :

Ag_unitframes :

CT_unitframes :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/140/ctmod/ (this is entire CTmod)

Now some handy stuff you should consider : Scrolling Combat Text , is a mod which shows how much you heal for or how much damage you do and such , also shows rep gains . this mod was made before blizzard implemented their version , which is also very good nevertheless

Action bars : Most of the people don't like the standard blizzard bars so here are some alternatives for you which you could consider getting if you are like some others not very happy with the blizzard ones

Bartender 3: Bartender three is a action bar mod which is made using the ACE2 formula , its light on the memory and a quite good mod , it also has some other addons working with it like cycircled (which is the mod who makes your bar round , or well the icons) it also has other features such as making them sort of zoomed in and squire and many others

Usefull although not needed mods

So now we had some unitframes and some bars , making your standard User interface somewhat different , so maybe its time to talk about...Panels

As far as i know there are 2 common panels , you have titan panel and Fubar which both are bars where you can plug stuff in to , such as Xp per hour and various things. from my experience i know that Fubar likes ACE stuff more (most ace stuff has a standard plugin for Fubar) While titan has some standard plugin with nothing to special (in my opinion feel free to disagree) however the plugins that are standard with it are quite good , and after checking curse for it again ive discovered it has updated plugins so i would say both are really good now

Links to files :

Titan :

Fubar :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/3040/fubar-2-0/

However i have no clue which plugins Fubar starts off with Curse has a good database of extra plugins for Fubar

lets talk about damage meters now there arnt to many damage meter mods that i know , the one i use is called SW stats , these mods basicly keep a record of damage done damage taken healing done and healing taken and makes them viewable and sharable in different chats, in my opinion this isnt really needed but can be handy

Also a fairly new mod you might want to get is a Guild spam blocker , as far as i know this is a fairly new sort of mod seeing that since TBH this has increased to unknown levels i personaly use Spamsentry which can be found here on curse Download to spam Sentry

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/4150/spamsentry-anti-goldspam/

Another optional mod is Gatherer which basicly is a mod for gathering proffesions , i have hardly any experience with this mod so i couldnt say to much about this sort of mod , all i know is that it saves spots of spawns of herbs/mining veins , and puts them on your map , so you can check where spawns are

Download to Gatherer :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/24/gatherer/

Again a very usefull mod is Equipcompare which compares your equipement , it puts the current equipment you use so that if you for example see a drop in kara and click it a window next to it opens with your current item for that slot (For example weapon) very handy because i for example always have problems comparing them perfectly so this is another mod i'd recommend to get if you are like me and forget stats easyly

Download link for Equipcompare

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/166/equipcompare/

Yet another excellent mod in my opinion is theorycraft/spelltips , which are mods which calculate your tooltips actual damage or healing , seeing that blizzard doesnt update the tooltips as your gear progresses you lose a good firm grip on a image of how much damage or healing one ability does , that is exactly why there mods got made , just to give you a idea of how much damage or healing you do

Downloads : Spelltips :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/4747/spelltips/

Theorycraft :

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/5360/theorycraft-2/

Yet another nice mod for bags is Bagnon , simple explaination of what this mod does is just add all your bags into one , i personaly don't like it to much but suppose it could be handy.

Download link Bagnon

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/2090/bagnon/

Now a commonly used mod for mod packs : Skinner , what does skinner do? it basicly gives alot of things a different skin standardly black background , it works on Inspect frames , Chat frames NPC chat frames and basicly , also it works on the tooltips and possibly alot of things im forgetting at the moment

Here is the link to the site if comes from (Wowace)

Link : http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Skinner

Including wiki

Casting bar time! Ive only used 2 kind of casting bars now (Custom ones) being Otravi cast bar and ECB (No idea what it stands for) after a short research on ECB it appears it is quite outdated , so im guessing it might not work , however feel free to try it on curse . ECB

Link : http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/5056/ecastingbar-for-wow-2-0/

Now OCB is a smooth looking ACE casting bar , from wowace, although the author has moved the files to his own site now (which is also where i got the download) Otravi casting bar

now i'd say your pretty set , although this is just a fraction of the mods out there , but this should get you started as a final note i will show you my current interface incase you would like to know what mine looks like

No problem at all , although i won't always write these monster like posts about mods :) maybe i should consider making one huge post and then just writing it as a Addon guide
