Items Database Addon

Hello geeks , i am planning to build a DB of World of Warcraft - Burning Crusade the thing is am making a new DKP system in Visual Studio 2005 , will be using VB.NET for that therefore i need some help to create the DB , where this thing can help with replacing or having a new DKP system .

ok to be more clear , we want to make an addon which will save the Name , stats and name color in database , and those addon should be linked or used in the server just like LootLink.lua , but for TBC with a different way to sort the db .
