How do I use a mod?

sorry to bother u guys again but if a mod is red after u check "load out of date addons" wat do u do? my "count doom", "Petleash", and "BanishTimer" all say "Incompatible". how do u fix it cause i really want those.

Some addons, requires others addons to work, Blizzard call them "dependencies", go to the character screen, click the AddOns button and mouse over the red addon to see what dependencies are missing, then come back on curse to download them, if it's not this problem, then i guess the addon you're trying to use is just out of date and unusable until authors update it/them.

Also, mods designed using the old Lua 1.0 code (IE-before Dec 15th), will not work with the current WOW or the current TBC. You must make sure you download mods that are compatible with 2.0. Look for file dates of later than December.

Yeah, somebody just needs to take the code and update it for 2.0
