ryanhamshireSo I've got several addons of my own up on Curse, and I like to check every now and then to see how they're doing. On my accounts page, I see 'hits today', which at first I thought was fantastic, but then I realized the numbers stay the same for days at a time, which I think is unlikely to be coincidence. On further inspection, I noticed that the download totals on my project page near the top (downloads today) are inconsistent with the downloads counted for the most recent version further down the page. Specifically, I noticed that the download count for my most recent version is only 4, but the top of the page insists that I got 21 downloads today? It can't be right. Furthermore, the search results page insists one of my addons has 1000 downloads, while that same addon's project page lists the total count as only 987. With all the inconsistency, I don't know which numbers to trust, if any. How can I more accurately track the popularity of my addons?
In case anyone at Curse cares to see case in point, here's a link to the search results for my addons :
