dependency missing for cartographer?

Whenever I try to use Cartographer, inside the addons folder it comes up saying "Dependency missing"

do any of you guys/gals have any suggestions?

the easiest solution is to download WoW Ace Updater (WAU) from www.wowace.com. Once downloaded and installed, start the program. In the program go to Edit > Preferences and mark 'Automatic Dependency Download'. Press OK to save this setting.

Once this is done, press F10, WAU will start to update all you Ace based addons including Cartographer and if all went right, you should have a working Cartographer.

If you click the Addon button on your character login screen and hover the addon thats says "Dependency missing" it will tell you which addon its missing. Just install/enable that one.
