Alliance Trinket Keybind Issue

I have my Medallion of the Alliance set to Right-Action-Bar 7 slot, which is keybound to Mouse 5 but it doesn't seem to be working, it gives me errors like "Cant use while stunned" "cant use while incapacitated" "cant use while feared" which is exactly why I am using it at all in the first place, is there anything I can do to fix this or is it just impossible to run keybound slots when CC'd?

a) Did you test that slot in the action bar with something else already, like a spell or something. Maybe you have set the keybinding to the wrong slot.
b) Are you sure you have the item equipped. If it's not in one of your 2 trinket slots, then it will not work.

I often use the medallion via keybindings and I never have problems with it, where ever I place it on my action bars and which ever keybinding I use..

The trinket is set to the correct slot that is keybound, and it is equipped, it works when Im not cc'd but will not work when I actually want to use it. Im going to set up a petition to Blizzard.
