Class Raiding Opportunities

Hey im having trouble logging in to wow forums so im posting here.

For the past few months or so after i first hit 70 with my warlock im having some trouble finding a good guild for raiding. Most of the time, guilds that i join seem disorganized and lack a proper team for raiding, and i end up being in one of the people left behind when they raid.

I am concerned that this *may* be because of my class being a warlock, and as there are so many dps classes avaliable, i will have trouble being put into a kara first team. Furthermore, certain guilds have strict restrictions on gear for entrance to the guild. For someone like me who is unable to gear properly through a raid, i try to PUG kara sometimes. Most of the time to no avail. Should gear up with badge loot and try to find a guild that raids on a higher level or...??

I was thinking about rerolling to a warrior so that there would be a greater demand for me to raid by guilds. Tanking seems like a fun job anyway. What are your comments on this issue?

My GF is has a warrior and pally epiced gear for both them tanking/fury for warrior and healing/tanking for the pally she doesn't get to raid full time or see any end game content. She filled out apps to plenty of good raiding guilds to try to get a chance, but they are 'full'. We are both in a end game raiding guild that is downing stuff in sunwell, however we can't raid with the 'core raiders' because our gear isn't t6 level and they take their alts and core raiders to hyjal and what not, so we can't really gear up since they only take the core ppl (i play a mage btw)

as a mage i leveled getting some arena gear and epic heroic gear from there i slowly collected badge gear and then went to kara gear, gruul and mag gear then to ssc and tk with some sunwell badge gear and s3 gear i've gotten all my gear by pugs right now im in full epics and been 70 since feb and have 45 days /played

now an days you have to suffer if your not a core raider looking for pugs and going to learning (unorganized) guilds and raiding with them or work up the ranks slowly in less your lucky and know some good ppl to bring you to any instance to gear you up

Try the heroic dailies. Be sure you have at least all BLUES before you enter heroics, also do the non heroics in heroic so you get more badges. For better chances at easy epics. Go for the new sunwell badge stuff first as it's said to be equal to T6 quality items. Anyway man getting a good place in wow is like getting a good career irl long and painfull lol GL
