what happened with curse client

I just downloaded the curse client thing and i tried to download an addon with it but every time i try an error pops up saying an illegal operation was performed, what do i do

having the same problem since i dll it a while back. i just ended up dll the same way i was before.

Try quitting the client, then click the psyn link in your browser to launch the client to download it.

I've had lots and LOTS of semi-reproducible issues with this whatever it is. I'd call it an updater but it has all kinds of worthless bloat.

I get a weird error today when I try to load the curse client. It does a little progress bar saying it is Fetching Application Update, gets to the end of the bar and then pops up a Warning text box with an OK button saying, "Curse Client Should Be Running, But Isn't". So now I can't manage or install new addons with it, as when I do it loads the client, starts to download the new addon, but at the same time tries to do the same process stated above and then chokes. Any ideas on what is going on?

I even went so far as completely deleting the programs, & it still saye the same thing.
HAs anyone had any luck in downloading or it working for them?
Could this be because yesterday they updated some stuff, & now there's bugs or missing links in their htmls?

Thanks Kolie, I have done that and it is connecting now and reassociating all my subscriptions. If it still has any other problems I'll let you know, but this is more than it was doing earlier with the 0.13.1 ver I had.

I cannot down load anything at all . . . i'm getting error messages saying that the zip files are corrupted and the curse client .exe file is not recognized as a WIN32 file. What am I doing wrong?

i get an error message saying that it failed to create named pipe..? And it wont run.

something is up with your servers.

downloads don't work at all, whether it's from the client or directly from my browser. they always stall about 10-20% in.

the site is basically unusable.
