It wont work!

I've downloaded the addon and put it in the addon folder unzipped but when i log into wow it isnt there, i didnt have the problem with windows XP but now i do can someone help =((

i use windows vista home premium if that helps

should be in the folder

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

then it should be the addon folder like

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\COOLADDON

then all the files should be inside the COOLADDON folder be sure it's not another folder inside that folder like

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\COOLADDON\COOLADDON\

sometimes people zip the folder and it makes another folder like that when you unzip it this is the most common problem i've seen with guildies adding addons sorry for the rough examples can't really explain it any better

You got farther than me i don't even know where it is and im totaly confused i can't figure out how to do anything but download and after that i get lost becuase i can't find anythig and im confused and when i read the help thing on how to do that i got confused even more.

there is another thread in these forums about how to get around Vista's security issues when installing addons. look around, it might help you with your problem.
