got banned from wow 5 weeks playing still dumb to game
It depends what addons you are talking about. If you were to provide a list, people could tell you what and what not to use. Generally, addons you find on Curse are perfectly fine to use so if you got them from here, you will not have anything to worry about.
Bots are programs that automate your character via scripting. They control your character based on a set of commands and allow your character to level or accomplish other tasks whilst you are not at the computer. Using a botting solution WILL get your account banned if Blizzard detect it.
Hacks cover a wide variety of things. For example, code injected into World of Warcraft that allows you to accomplish things that are not usually possible, such as teleportation, are considered hacks and some consider exploitations such as "safe zones" in instances that allow you to kill a boss (or mob) but the boss (or mob) can't attack you back as hacks also. Using a hack will get your account banned or suspended on the severity of the hack in question.
My advice to you would be to email Blizzard and ask them for specifics involved with the account suspension and ask them for some form of specific evidence. They may not give it to you but it is worth a try. Accounts sometimes get banned by mistake and this may be one of those instances. Best to talk to them.
Yeah don't go telling them your brothers friend was levelling for you - that's against the EULA and a straight ban right off the bat. The only people who can play your account according to the terms are you and one minor who you have parental responsiblity for. Anyone else and they've got enough to ban you already.
If you want to be able to install addons with ease though you don't need fancy install programs (that could potentially install other things too - keyloggers are the popular one lately) when you can just use the curse client. Use that and all you need do is click the "Install this addon using curse client" link on the addon download page and it'll drop everything in the right spot for you and even inform you of updates too :D

cowboywdosgot my brothers friend who has 3 lvl 70 guys on wow he offered to lvl my toon 10 lvls in a week for free while im at work. figured why not. get home 2day blizzard banned my acount for 3 days for(exploration). which i just found out is bots or hacks. asked him if he used he denied. dont wanna loose my account love the game better than my xbox360. so are these addons that you can download considered hacks or bots? they seem like cool things to use but i dont wanna loose account permantely and sure the hell will never let anyone help me out on my toons. so whats the deal are these addons safe? and how do you tell what is a bot or hack
