There is no way in game for you to be able to switch things like that.
A quick fix that I could think of would be for you to have two versions of your WTF folder. When you are playing you rename his something else and use yours. When he is playing he remanes yours something and uses his.
or buy a game controller taht you can set keys on fir different chars, i use one so that i can switch it for my diffeerent chars has 4 different char setups on it at the flick of a switch. its called a pro gamer command unit, realy handy if you have more than one char
used to use wow keyboard but decided to try a controller and it works for me :)), use vent everytime i log on, find it a most for raiding and team playing :))
just to clarify its not a joystick lol, its a mini keyboard that sits under my left hand with 21 keys and switchable to 3 different key settings

MisianoMe and my bro are playing same carector right now and we use our action buttons in diffrent places so every time he plays he changes the location of the action buttons, Is there a addon where when i log on i can push one button and it changes to my setting for playing and so on, Becouse right now i just have a screen shot of my setting and i set them back up that way every time
