i have a lot of add ons... they cause my wow UI to sometimes flicker and cause severe lag. disabling all add ons solves this problem. Is there a way to figure out if this is one specific add on that is causing this or just having too many or not enough memory? this has been going on for a while and even after a fresh format of the pc! i also have alloted more mb for the add ons (like 100)

any ideas? thx

i do have a lot of add ons. i tried disabling a bunch and will see how it works. it seems that this might happen when my FPS gets very low... i'll double check this and report back, thanks

edit: my fps seems to constantly be below 20... like 10-15... this is bad right? any idea as to why this is happening and could it be causing my problem?

yea my fps seems to go down to 0.9 - 2.0 fps when the flicker is happening. interesting... and it does seem to be add on related.

on further testing, disabilgn all add ons (except titan and performance add on to test FPS) did not solve FPS problem. turning down all video settings to lowest raised it slightly (fro teens to low 20's) but didn't prevent it from dipping into teens when outside.

inside fps is around 30ish. now i'm starting to think this may not be related to add ons. any help?

If disabling your addons isn't making a difference it could be hardware or OS related. I know Windows Vista has problems running WoW if you're using that. Else it might be a graphics card issue?

im running xp. i guess it could be graphics related, but i have successfully run wow in the past on this pc with the same parameters.

What are the PC Specifications and what settings are you trying to run WoW at? You also said that turning off all addons seems to help but when you left Titan Performance you still had FPS lag issues. I am wondering if Titan could some how be part of the problem.

Indeed what Eldredd wrote up here seem like one of the only options ,also if i remember correctly blizzard changed the Grafic files a while back , they morphed them in to a big file so that you couldnt drag models out and add them as a different model , so called Model changing would be disabled by this? What graphic card are you currently running? because im starting to think it is either titan or your pc is not capable of running the game smooth anymore

I have an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (1.54 GHz) with 1.50 GB of RAM Running Windows XP SP2 GeForce3 Ti 200 Video Card

i disabled every single addon including titan... and checked FPS using Ctrl + R and there was no increase in FPS.... :(
