DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL ADDONS? READ!

i dont understand all the talk about unzipping and extracting!!

Ive done all that u have said, wel several times of extrating to addons folder in interface and then removing and re-adding. anyway, I deleted the previous cartographer addon that worked proir to patch 2.3 and downloaded the latest cartographer. It shows up at my login page after I click the addons icon, is check marked but does nto function at all. All i really want are cords and note but I cant make it work argh!!! It looks like I've added everything properly and I dont what i should do. LOL...given my description of my problem, I'm not sure any of yo will know what I should either. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone has any advice. THX

There are A LOT of trouble with Cartographer. use another cart addon. Almost everyone I know stopped using carto. and start using another addon instead.
Ex. for Coordinates i use Curse "koordinator". For gather info I use Gatherer. And I also use Atlas. All work just great for me now. but with cartographer I ALWAYS got some trouble.
