apophissI did not see a forum for this so I made one. Apologies ahead of time if one exists.
The Burning Crusade expansion/updates messed up a lot of things for a lot of people. From what I have read I am one of the lucky ones that have minor issues with it.
My issue is with the chat windows collapsing/disappearing. FYI it is NOT a Titan problem - I tested this without ANY addons installed and the chat windows still disappear. It happens most when opening/closing the map (M-Key).
What I did to test this:
Deleted the WTF and Addons folders. Started WoW.
1 -Create new chat window.
2 - Move new chat window to new area on the screen.
3 - Open and close map 2-4 times (Press M).
4 - The new chat window will be gone!
My query/question/suggestion is: Can a Titan Addon be made to read the chat window setup, save the settings, and later read and restore the windows to that state before they disappeared?
I am going to look into the code (more realistic description: grope blindly) to see if I can decipher if I can do this. ANY and all help would be greatly appreciated!!
