since this mod is dead unless someone picks it up and keeps updating it....
does anyone know another mod that can take its place?
i used this for the tranq, md, freeze warnings to party/raid and the anti daze

You did well, I used your addon for atleast 3 years, couldn't live without it but Ill find a replacement now. Thanks for all the good times. lol

a short guide how to reactivate the zautostrip feature:

first of all you have to get an older version of zhunter an extract the zautostrip folder into your zhunter folder in the zhunter folder in your wow.
then you have to put in the following lines in zhuntermod.toc

ZAutoStrip\ZAutoStrip.lua
ZAutoStrip\ZAutoStrip.xml

this addonmodification worked for me very well and it's still working in 3.2

Can anyone tell me where the Pet attack/follow key bind is? I cannot find it anywhere in the settings.

I'm having a big problem. I downloaded the addon, put it in the folder, all the normal stuff. But, when I get on the game it shows the addon in my "addons" section under character selection, but not in my interface options after I log in, it says I have it, but it doesn't work when I am on my character. Can anyone help?

My response is a bit past your original question date, but have you tried typing /zhunter and seeing if the config menu comes up? You may have to enable each module of the addon.

i would download but i don't need because i have aspects on minimap (never change as i am herbilist),aspects macro (dragonhawk / viper), pet bar , i have my pet and i love him never gonna tame again! and i have macro for healing,calling,reviving and dismissing pet all in one - although i have trap bar on another addon only - on your screenshot doesn;t show snake trap - unless i'm blind! But addon is great - must be a good on efor hunters has 250 downloads every day! Well DOne M8!

Is anyone having a problem with the newer versions of this? If I install 3.1.0.1 or .2, I lose all the extra bars and there are no options on the zhunter options page except for misdirect and freeze fail and auto shot. I have to keep 3.0.9.2 in order to keep the aspect/trap/pat bars. Any thoughts? Oh, and btw, thanks ever so much Zanzer for this mod, it has been a HUGE compliment to my enjoyment of the game.

I put back in the AutoStrip folder from version 3.1.0.1, and edited the .toc to reflect this. I have not tested it on a boss or in an instance, but it seems to work perfectly on regular mobs. The only problem is that the autocast graphic seems to be missing, so when I put it on autocast the whole button just turns white.

I have tried to use the equipment manager instead, as was suggested, but it just doesn't work as well as AutoStrip. Please tell me how to fix the graphics problem; in the meantime I will keep using it with the broken graphics, because I love it.

Zanzer, Thanks for everything you've done with this mod. Hunter-ing would be almost impossible without it ;)

Just a heads up on some behavior I'm seeing with ZHunter on the current PTR. I'm not saying it's broken for live, but in case you aren't on the PTR yourself, I want to describe how the new patch is affecting your mod. That way if you care to look into it, you can. Mind you, I'm going off of what I remember from last night, but you'll get the idea even if my details are off a bit. Here goes:

After I enable and configure ZHunter, I can't get the buttons to expand into a row. I have to go into the options and change the direction the rows are supposed to expand. It doesn't matter what selection I make, just making any change seems to enable them to expand on mouse-over.

Of course, as always, I have to re-log to get the buttons to show up in the order I set them on.

However, every time I log off, and back on, the bars have disappeared. I have to go back to the options for each bar and change something just to get the bars to show up again. Once they show up, I then have to change the direction they expand in, in order to get them to actually expand on mouse-over.

Once I do all this, the mod works as normal-- and I'm all set again!

Assuming you downloaded it into the "Addons" folder in your World of Warcraft folder (if you used the Curse Client to install the addon, then it already put it in the right place) then you're ready to go.

Log on to WoW, and at the "Character Selection" screen, look at the bottom left corner. You should see an "Addons" button. Click on that, select your Hunter charcter from the drop-down list, and then scroll down to the bottom of the list of addons. Click on the check-box for ZHunterMod, and click "OK". Now the addon should be enabled for that character.

Log on to the character. Once you're in-game, type "/zhunter" (without the quotes) and hit "Enter". That will open the ZHunter interface, and you can configure how you want the addon to work for you.

Very good addon, i replaced 2 or 3 because of it(a good thing)

Interesting... i only installed the addon today and i've noticed this really fast. If you click an aspect or any of the other bars really quick(like you would in combat) and hold on for just a little more(or try to drag it without using ALT), the bar with move a pixel which ever way you tried to drag it(i only assume this since i've only tried 'down'). this is minor, but when in a raid it may become an issue.

ok maybe im retarded - but i cant figure out how to bind the attack or come back if attacking key.. it used to be in the key bindings menu back in the day but i dont see it there anymore

and once upon a time there was a nice feature where i could switch pet-stay and pet-follow with one button. i want that stuff back =(
