  • Would it be possible to change the LDB functionality so, that instead of mouse over, the volume control would show up on, lets say, right click?

I have set chocolate bar so that it doens't show broker tooltips during combat (since it's just distracting), but I would like to have more control over sound than simple mute. And out of combat, I find having the tooltip accidentally popping up when operatting the other LDB objects annoying.

Ok, the mouse-over was beginning to annoy me as well. Reverted in 1.2.0.

If you want to control your volume in combat, use the "/vol" command for the center-screen panel. As for out of combat, move the icon somewhere else on the bar that you don't mouse over often, is all I can think of.

was wondering if LDB does allow you to trap mousewheel

i would love to set main volume (and each slider too) with mousewheel, possiblE?

Since version r39 I cannot select any other than the first preset, because the preset list closes when I move the mouse further down to select another preset in the list (I currently have 4 presets).

Are you using it from the icon on DockingStation? If so, use a different LDB display until DockingStation's tooltips are fixed (whenever the new version is released) or type "/vol" to open the panel in the center of the screen.

Are you downloading the -nolib version? If so, get the normal version.

    Volumizer\Libs\CallbackHandler-1.0
    Volumizer\Libs\LibStub
    Volumizer\Libs\LibDataBroker-1.1.lua

which are included in the pack i downloaded - -

Those are the only libraries that are required. Try typing "/vol" (without quotes) and see if the panel appears in the center of your screen.

So the AddOn works. Apparently what isn't working is its integration with whatever LDB display you're using.

Whenever I click on a profile (other than profile 1) in the dropdown to either use or save the profile, the window closes before I can click on anything. It seems that Volumizer is closing as soon as my mouse is no longer directly over the frame, but it still over the dropdown menu for the profiles. I am running Volumizer on Dockingstation, if it makes any difference.

It does make a difference. I use DockingStation myself, but never noticed the problem because I always use "/vol" to open the panel in the center of the screen. Testing confirms that the presets are broken when used from DockingStation. It works flawlessly with Fortress. I'll report this to the author of DockingStation.
