  • I'm having difficulty using custom dogtag scripts for text elements. I can change the presets, but can't type in the textbox, am I missing something?

  • I may be missing something, but I'm having great difficulty getting the slider bars to land on the precise widths and heights I want. For example, I'm trying to create a health bar with a height of 22, but the slider jumps from 19 to 23. Some mods use the mouse wheel to fine-tune slider options like this, but it's not working for me with UH. Is there another way?

    Maybe unrelated, but for some reason World of Warcraft locks up (no error message) when logging into a character who's in Dalaran. I disabled this mod and was able to login without locking up.

    Other than that I'm liking this HUD

    I should have commented on this earlier; in my case, the problem vanished on its own the following tuesday. I don't know if this is due to another addon that was updated during that time or due to a change on Blizzard's part. Regardless, I'm back to using UH and no longer experience the issues described.

    Same. Existing profiles do not load, new frames cannot be created. Numerous error messages concerning class type, etc.

    @hroskar: There will be no raid frames in UH. Never. There is a lot of excellent addons that deal with raid frames, such as PitBull. I do not want to create another bad one. I'll think about totem frames.

    Thanks for clarifying, I tried out both PitBull and AG following your reply. They're decent but still aren't anywhere near as customizable as UH (for what it does).

    UH lets me create frames for all sorts of agents (player, target, pet, focus, etc etc); for making group frames there's party 1,2,3,4 (5th member being player). My point was that if it only allowed me to refer to raid 1, raid 2, etc up to 25 I could use this mod to set up my own raid frames and would very happily do so and use it over any of the alternatives I've tried so far (Pitbull, AG, Grid, Healbot). I find it quite understandable if you don't want to include preset raid frames however.

    I keep looking for a raid frames addon that is lightweight, customizable and allows me to define freely what sort of buffs I can display on the frames (I want to show all types of healing auras - hots, shields, etc - clearly with a timer while leaving out just about everything else). UH would let me do this perfectly but for a 5 man party only; sadly it strands on not being able to refer to raid members as entities in the frames setup.

    Anyhow I hope you can tell I'm thrilled by your addon - big thanks for what it has done for my ui so far!

    Great addon, one of the most customizable I've seen. I didn't like the preset HUD at all so I completely redesigned it.

    There's two things I miss from it - ability to create frames for totems (something like the round icons shown in the normal UI); and the ability to create frames for raid members (currently seems to support party 1-5 only). If I could make raid frames I'd seriously just use this instead of the other major raid frame addons (X-Perl, Grid, Healbot etc).

    Regardless, great work on this one!

    I don't see where I can save a profile. I periodically login while my brother who doesn't have UH is playing my account, and it appears to break everything. I need a way to quickly reload my saved profile.

    @guardian84: Unfortunately no.
    @tgrhwke: You can move group/anchor frames by using anchoring feature. To move a single frame you need to unanchor it :(
