    Hey, let me start off by saying GREAT! addon. It really is very useful. 1 small problem I've noticed on this version however is that I cannot put the titan panel bar on the bottom. Did I miss something, or is it the same for everyone else? The options menu, nor the bar menu has the "display on top" as an option. I looked at some of the comments below, the one guy said how to put the bar on the bottom, however it did not work for me.

    Instead of seeing what the guy below said I would see, I see:

    Note, I changed the "position" to 2 instead of 1 like the guy said I should, however it still does not show on the bottom. Can anyone help me? Again, great addon.

  • Did you edit the file while the game was running? I tried that at first and it didn't work, but I exited, changed it (you have the right one), and it worked.

    Perhaps this isnt a Titan issue but I've noticed that when I have 2 rows of buffs, they dont push down properly. Either the top row of buffs stay under the Titan Panel or the first row is pushed down and overlapping the 2nd row of buffs. Anyone having the same problems?

    I didn't want to take the time to create a google account, so I will post the error here that is collected by bug sack.

    1x Titan-4.3.0.30200\TitanPanel.lua:801: attempt to index global 'TitanPanelSettings' (a nil value)
    <string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <[string "*:OnEvent"]:1>

    Funny thing is I run 4.3.1.30300 however this bug does not seem to effect titan panel i do get a yellow message every once in a while saying interface action failed because of an addon though.

    I love this addon, but there's one thing I find extremely annoying and that's the auto-roll on mouse-click on the "Loot Type" item. I keep hitting this by accident trying to target mobs far away all the time. It would be rather inconvenient if this happened at the wrong time during a raid.

    So, I request the feature of not having that function, or at least the ability to turn it off.

    I also miss the ability to only show the bar at the bottom that was removed in the last version for some reason it seems.

    Thank you for a great addon and hope you'll consider these improvements.

    And PS: European servers are patched one day later than American ones. This is the reason a lot of us had problems with the latest version when it was released.

    To make it show on the bottom. Go to World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<YourAccountName>\SavedVariables.

    Find Titan.LUA and open it with Notepad.
    Find the lines that looks like this:

    ["FrameStrata"] = "DIALOG",
    ["DoubleBar"] = 1,
    ["FontName"] = "Liberation Sans",
    ["ToolTipsShown"] = 1,
    ["DisableTooltipFont"] = 1,
    ["Transparency"] = 0,
    ["AuxAutoHide"] = false,
    ["Position"] = 1,
    ["Location"] = {

    Change the number '1' in the '["Position"]' field to '2'.

    Titan panel should now show on the bottom.

    A few quick comments for everyone.

    Yes, Curse promoted the 4.3.1 version with lightning speed rather than the normal 12 hour delay. However, this shouldn't have been a problem as I waited for the servers to go down for maintenance before I posted the file to Curse. If you logged in before 3.3 was promoted to the live servers, your server must have been way down the list of systems for a shutdown cycle. That happens. Nothing we can do about that. API changes within WoW required the change which is why 4.3.1 was not compatible with WoW 3.2.

    We are aware of a few issues and are working on addressing them. Please be patient and we'll get version 4.3.2 ready for distribution as soon as a few more of the issues are resolved.

    WoW 3.3 changed a lot of internal functions and while our testers tried to catch everything, obviously a few items slipped by them.

    First, I absolutely love this addon and thank you for your time in making it.

    I wanted to report a small bug that is not having any serious impacts. The performance add-on seems to have a math issue when reporting the addon usage rate. It shows QuestHelper, for example, as increasing 3000-4000 kb/s. While the memory is increasing, it is more like 70-100 kb/s. Like I said, a small issue, but wanted to let you know what I saw. Thanks!

    coordinates module is FUBAR'd. Placing cursor on player shows two DIFFERENT locs between player loc and cursor loc. For reasons I cannot even guess, Titan's coordinates panel also appears on the main map and cannot be overwritten by another coordinate mod. Disabling coordinates in Titan Panel completely fixed the problem.

    I find one problem here. Does anyone find himself unable to take the TOP bar out? I always played ONLY with a bottom bar, but now, if I want a Bottom bar, I have to play with a top bar too. I don't find anywhere the option "Display on top" to unmark it so I can play without the TOP bar. And don't say it is on the "bar menu", because that option does not appear there...

    Reply Report Permalink
  • I have noticed that too when I was configuring it yesterday. I noticed a lack of a "Display on Top" feature that I could un-check. I have brought it up on the Titan Panel Google Code page. While I can deal with Titan Panel being on top I personally prefer it on the bottom.
