Adapted from TimeToDie, this add-on attempts to show how long it will be before you run out of mana.

Currently this may be a bit rough, as it uses mostly the same algorithm as TimeToDie did. Since mana is more fluid (many players gain mana periodically during combat), we may want to work on a more complex algorithm. Any feedback is appreciated.

This was a very quick adaptation so let me know if there are any issues. It has not yet been tested in a raid environment.

    This add on was exactly what I was looking for, i'm having real probelms getting it working effectivly. I play as a mage and wanted to use it so i can plan my evocations effectivly. Currently I'm finding that the add on is mainly just coming up with random numbers periodicly and quite often with a lot smaller estimate of time than I know i have. I have tried changing the reset after consecutive gains but this has had no noticable affect.

    For the most part the calculation seems to be based on the last spell cast rather than a group of spells.

    Really hoping this becomes useful for mages!

    I'll see about getting a screenshot up one of these days. It's just a number, like "1:32", telling you how long until you run out of mana. You can configure how it looks and where it gets positioned.

    Type /timetooom and the right click menu will appear. TimeToDie is the same way.

    r9 is out:
    - The "reset after consecutive gains" now lets you configure how many consecutive gains will trigger the calculation reset. Also changed the default from 2 to 3. Set this value to 0 to turn the feature off.

    I'm a survival hunter and occasionally I will have 3 or more consecutive gains based off of the GCD, Explosive Shot triggering Thrill of the Hunt on top of Replinishment, not to mention Lock and Load. I was wondering if you could increase the number of consecutive gain reset to maybe 3 or even make it modifiable. In any event, love the mod. Thanks for your work.

    r7 adds a new feature: Reset after consecutive gains. Causes calculations to reset any time you gain mana two or more times consecutively. This will help reset the time if you've used an ability to gain mana during combat.

    This will help resolve issues with abilities such as Aspect of the Viper during combat, as the time should reset and start counting down correctly when you go back to a mana loss mode. The display may be slightly erratic during a long stretch of mana gain, but in general it'll try to hide the timer when it can't get a sensible calculation.

    I may also add a configurable reset timer to ensure calculations are fresh during a very long encounter, but let's see how this does.
