SnapshotBar2 is a new revision of SnapshotBar (which allowed you to save one set of actions bars to restore them later) adding the possibility to save many sets of bars and to name them.

It does not interfere with addons such as ag_UnitFrames or Pitbull, since it only saves an action given a slot number and not the position of the slot itself (handled by ag_uf or pitbull or whatever you use).

The purpose is to be able to save a complete set of bars for each of your talent spec. When you respec, you just use Snapshotbar2 to restore all the spells specific to the spec to the position you usually put them in your bars.

SnapshotBar2 has no graphical UI. The following commands are available :
/snap Display help
/snap save <name>
Save your current set of bars with its name
/snap restore <name> Restore the set of bars given its name
/snap sets
Display a list of available sets
/snap delete <name> Delete the set given its name

Issues - The following issues have been reported :
- Mount and pets are not handled (neither saved nor restored properly, but if they don't move from 2 different spec, they won't be deleted from the bars either). This is due to the way the basic function of retrieving data from an action has been implemented by Blizzard. The issue has been reported to Blizzard quite some time ago. Hopefully the new patch implementing double spec will correct that.

NOTE:
If you used an older version of the addon and if you want to keep your saved sets, you may need to rename your WTF\Account\[Your account name]\SavedVariables\SnapshotBar.lua into Snapshotbar2.lua

Ok...so this is like "Simple Actions Sets" Addon BUT without the GUI and less options?

    Maybe check this out: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/simple-action-sets.aspx

I never heard about it, that's part of why I created my addon.
I installed SAS this morning and well... the only options of it I would use are the one in SnapshotBar2 (basic save and restore functions).

But thanks for the link :)

Works like a charm, a VERY pleasant workaround until Blizzard implements dual-spec - and even after that (I play a paladin) this remember that pesky third spec you may play as well.

    Bravo.
