  •

Adds aura indicators to Shadowed Unit Frames, primarily this is for healers who want information such as what raid member is missing Mark of the Wild, or who has X debuff that they need to heal the raid member for quickly. Unlike the old version, you can now use this for all units not just raid members, and it's not restricted to only friendly players. You can set it up to show an indicator on the player frame while Slice and Dice is up, or show an indicator on an enemy if they are Cycloned.

Indicators can be configured to show an aura stack, show an indicator for missing auras, show the aura icon, show a set color and even the duration on the aura. If you want to see the time left on the aura as a visual number you will need a mod like OmniCC. Auras can be enabled per class as well, should you want to see players missing Mark of the Wild on a Druid but not on a Priest. There is no limit on the amount of auras or indicators you can have.

By default, this is only enabled on raid units. You can enable it for more units by going to /suf -> Aura indicators -> Enable by unit.

Slash commands: Opened with /suf (/shadowedunitframes), adds new configuration option "Aura indicators"

Note, changes from ShadowedUF_Grid You must delete the ShadowedUF_Grid/ folder before installing this as it has been renamed to ShadowedUF_Indicators. Settings will be reset when you upgrade due to format changes, the previous version will continue to work but is no longer maintained or supported.

The major change in SUF Indicators is that indicators are no longer linked to raid frames and you can now show indicators on all unit frames as well as show them by unit type (friendly/hostile).

I'm in the process of switching to Shadowed UF + UF Grid for my unit and healing frames. So far it's been awesome. There are two things i'd want to be able to use:

-- Curse, poison, magic, disease as four separate auras. Even if i can't Cleanse curses, i like to know if someone is cursed or not. My priest alt would like to be able to separate magic and disease, as well.
-- Showing the same aura in more than one place so i can track both my Beacon of Light and the Beacon of the other paladin in the raid (if possible, having 'Not mine' as an alternative for buffs would icing on the cake)

These two are the only things i miss from Grid/Grid2.

Might add being able to show an entire group of aura types, but not planning on adding showing auras in multiple places as it becomes a bit of a pain.

Heya! I recently switched to Shadowed UF and was missing the ability to sort out the groups vertically. Then I saw this addon and did a little dance, but I can't seem to find the option! I've looked through Units -> Raids -> Bars but I just can't find it. Halp?

You can change sorting/growth/etc under Units -> Raid -> Raid

Great work on this addon, been healing with it and after working out how to add auras it's been a great replacement for grid.

Maybe I've missed it but is here a way to turn off the right-click menu when you click a raid unitframe? Although it works well with clique any right clicks popup that menu and its a pain.

Also, when in combat, and we dc during an encounter and log back in, the raid frames don't show until combats over. Is there a way around this?

Cheers, and keep up the good work!

You can do this within Clique far better than I could as an option actually.

Go to Spell book -> Clique, on the top right see "Click set" select "Out of Combat", click "Custom" on the bottom left and go to "Show Menu" also on the bottom left and bind that to the right button. This will give you the right click menu while you are out of combat, but not while you're in combat.

I'm looking into raid frame solutions, but for the time being you would need to do a /console reloadui to get it to pop back up if you login during a fight.

  • Are Raid debuffs supported? Currently using grid with a raid debuffs plugin. Along with clique it helps a lot with reaction time on things that don't show up as a generic debuff (magic, disease, cures, poison) such as KT's ice coccoons etc ...

Yes, auras means any buff or debuff is supported as an indicator.

  • will there be an option to disable party frames while in raid?

This is already an option in SUF by default, see Units -> Party -> Party
