This addon adds to the weapon's tooltip the estimated damage you will be able to do with that weapon considering your attack power and your talents. Supports calculation for white damage, sinister strike and backstab (with talent check support). You can check weapons off atlasloot aswell but you will need to whisper the itemlink to yourself, doesn't work with just mouseover. Equipped weapons instead are working with mouseover.

Added Talents Support and Hit Rating Calculations for lvl 70 players (how much hit rating you need to never miss during end game boss fights)

    And I get an error when I'm not on a Rogue when I hover a weapon.

    there is an ace addon that estimates mitigation called MobMitigation. it works like mobhealth where it calculates based on data gathered in combat.

  • to do (but need help with this) : make a movable frame wich calculates target's armor reduction and writes the damage output the player is able to do on that target.

  • well all i can say that ur addon bullshits on hit rating info for i have an addon to show total misses in a fight and im far over the values ur addon claims to be missfree ^^ consider that there are mobs above lvl 70 and that bosses are normally above too ...

  • Please answer to this problem , what kind of formula is your base to display the hit needed and is it the one concerning yellow dmg or white dmg

  • the hit rating is calculated only for bosses and only for lvl 70 players, to calculate i'm using the formulas provided here :

So I looked in your code. the first thing i noticed is that you have the talents wrong - the effects should be added together, not multiplied. That is, opportunity + suprise attacks + aggression = 1.36
    You have it going opportunity * surprise attacks * aggression = 1.4 which is wrong. The proof is in the backstab tooltip. when you have all 3 talents, it says the damage increase is 204%, or 1.5 * 1.36

    second, even compensating for this, i still cannot figure out the formula you are using. I think the key is the variable 'dr' in your code. You have the damage formula ending in / 1 + rd/100, which frankly i can't figure out. Damage Reduction is what it stands for, i guess, but that is... what? You need more comments in your code :(

    so can you please tell me your theory in creating your formulas.
