    Great addon. Nice work !

    The point of Revelation is to be able to quickly make things with what you have on hand. I don't see how making a menu of things I cannot make because I have the stuff in the bank would help me any...

  • It would help you to know you can make better items if you go to a bank ...

    Imagine you enchanting bracer with intelect ... Currently you have mats to make a +7 ench but if you go to your bank you can make a +12.

    Oh wait, I guess it wouldn't make sence to translate this addon to danish when the game is not :P

    You went from the system where you click a number(as shown in screenshot1) to a system where you either make all or then you type in the number you make.

    I usually just make all myself and then I cancel when I have made the amount I want to make. Possible to add an option that clicking on the gem name starts doing all?

    Clicking on the name creates a single item.

    Using Clique. The last revelation update gives me

    Message: ..\AddOns\Revelation\Revelation.lua line 433:
    bad argument #2 to 'strfind' (string expected, got boolean)
    Debug:
    [C]: ?
    [C]: ?
    Revelation\Revelation.lua:433: Menu()
    Revelation\Revelation.lua:476:
    Revelation\Revelation.lua:471
    (tail call): ?
    [C]: ContainerFrameItemButton_OnModifiedClick()
    [string "*:OnClick"]:10:
    [string "*:OnClick"]:1

    Before the last update, I was also unable to enchant stuff in "will not be traded" window with revelation for a while

    You're using Alpha versions. :P

    That said, the error is fixed in the next version. As for the enchanting, I'm at a loss. Nobody else has mentioned this, and Clique does nothing with that part of the Blizzard UI. I'll have to do some testing.

    Good deal. I have no idea why it wouldn't have before, as I've changed nothing related to it...

    I installed the 1/6 version, worked wonderfully...
    Next day I installed Clique (unit frame click-casting addon)...
    Revelation no longer works at all >_<;
    No errors popped up... ALT+Left Click simply does nothing anymore ;_;
    Any ideas?

    Try the latest version (1.1.4), as it works fine for me with Clique.

    do you plan to add disenchanting ?

    I was, then realized that not only does that not fit in with the intent of the AddOn - to give a selectable menu of what you can make with what you have - but would also unnecessarily complicate the code. Same for Lockpicking, Milling, and Prospecting.

    Design choice. I disagree with the usefulness however. For an enchanter greenies are materials, just unrefined, much like pigments before becoming inks.

    Lockpicking: there are already addons for that. Milling / prospecting aren't a real issue, as herbs and ores do stack nicely. Dissing greenies while you run an instance is however time consuming. Pick 'em, find 'em in your overfull bags, diss to save space and so on... pain.

    Having dissing in the menu would be terribly handy. So please reconsider at least dissing.

    Thanks

    Milling/Prospecting/Disenchanting are all in the same class - destroy one object to make another. If I added one, it would only make sense to support all three.

    As I said, though: It would unnecessarily complicate the code. I would have to add checks which currently do not exist to a straightforward and simplistic design.

    Also: You would still need to find the item in your bag as you do now in order to disenchant it, so all my adding it to Revelation would do is overcomplicate my code so you don't have to assign an action-bar slot to Disenchant.

    Sry, forgot one thing:

    the code to check if an item can be dissed is 4 lines long. Add 15 more for the list of the exceptions (e.g., strange items that should be dissable but they aren't) and it's done... I know, Tekkub is a lua programming master (I checked his code), but still it's a trivial thing.
