DESCRIPTION

Reputation Bars is a modular addon that lets you watch one or more faction standings, i.e. the amount of reputation you have with them. It can be used to track specific factions or automatically track the ones you gain rep with. It is especially useful for those with custom UIs that no longer have the default Blizzard rep bar available.

You can use this while leveling to see your reputation bar or simply as a way to show you how much you have left for various factions as you grind your way to exalted...

FEATURES

  • WatchBar module replaces the default Blizzard reputation watch bar.
  • WatchBar tracks the currently active faction (similar to Blizzards built in bar).
  • WatchBar can automatically switch the active faction to the one you gain reputation with.
  • AutoBars module that automatically tracks recently gained reputation.
  • StaticBars module to track specific factions that you specify.
  • Automatically fadeout bars when no reputation has been gained for a while to avoid cluttering your UI.
  • All bars can be customized in order to fit most UI configurations (supports SharedMedia for a larger variety of fonts and bar textures).
  • Simply disable any modules you don't need through the configuration UI.

I recommend that you also install the SharedMedia addon for a larger variety of fonts and bar textures.

CONFIGURATION

Configuration is done using the Blizzard addon configuration interface. You can right click on the title bar to open it, or use the slash command /rptb.

Lover having several rep bars showing at once, i find it a bit messy thought. any chance of background/borders/font colors/bar colors/bar spacing

or at least frame ids so i can attach Kgpanels to it or something.
    nice work ^^

ow another thought.. would be nice to maybe have the option to have the bars vertically and instead of text maybe an icon for the faction at the bottom?

I actually prefer WowInterface since I get an email notification when someone posts there :)

I had a problem with your bars, but posted a comment on wow interface. Not sure if you check there often ... that's why I posted here too.

Well the alphabetic ordering is nice, but my other problem hasn't been fixed.

On a new load the on-screen display of static bars is Blizzard default, but in the options Bantos is selected. To get it back to bantos I have to go in the options and change it to something else and then back to Bantos and then when I reload the game it's back to being the Blizzard defaults.

Something isn't being called correctly onload.

Ok, I'm unable to reproduce this bug myself. I don't have "Bantos" but I have "Bantobar" in my list. "Bantos" may be coming from another addon perhaps?

Can you try disabling all but my addon and SharedMedia and see if it works by setting a texture that is part of SharedMedia. Hopefully that could give me some more info to work with.

Looks like it'd be a good addon, but the StaticBars aren't 'static'. They bounce around constantly, and I can't find a setting to turn it off. Selecting replace blizzard rep bar does nothing, but unchecking that box makes a bar appear? You have to exit out of the options menu and then reenter it for settings to take effect.

Other than that, seems to work great!

I'm not sure what you mean by "bouncing around constantly"? Can you explain this a little bit more in detail?

If you have selected to replace the Blizzard bar it will be positioned just above your action buttons at the bottom of the screen (like the default reputation bar). It looks almost like Blizzards own bar so maybe you did not notice it? However, this bar can be customized a little more than the built in bar so that's why I added it. When you uncheck the option the bar will be placed on screen and you can move it around to place it where you want it.

Every time I restart the bar textures reset to default instead of being Bantos. I've reset the profile as well to try and rectify it with no luck.

Also the StaticBar order seems to randomize each load. It'd be nice if it could remember or maybe even be set in some way from highest to lowest, or alphabetically instead of just "however it loads it at the time".

Ok, I will take a look at it.

I have fixed the issue with StaticBars so that the bars should now always display in alphabetical order.
