Cartographer Quests

mmm i'm actually experiencing issues vsualizing the mob position for quests using cartographer and quest info.
When i open the man and under the questinfo button i check show active quests, nothing happens.
I tried the blodykiller solution but when i log i have some errore of libquixote 2.0.
Anyone have some suggestion?

wy does it not sow my q in mini map and maps like questhelper does¨

the new questinfo has now caused quests to start giving this

up until one day ago it worked fine fromlogin, now all of a sudden i'm having the issue where it doesn't work until i toggle it off then back on again after login. I never had to do this before but it's a royal pain in the ass. i want it to just load and load right the first tie, not have to fiddle with it every login.

its worked fine for me all this time...imma try it now but the one that they updated on curse seems to have the same fixes i made to my QI and it works fine for me....hmmmm but let me check it out

Just tryed it now and it works fine. just go into your quest log and click on the bubble and quest locations show up on map...

I didn't think it worked for me either. However, I checked in the Cartographer config window and Quests showed up for me. I disabled it and then reenabled it and then the icons appeared on my world map. Every time I log in I have to manually disable and reenable the module - which is tedious - but it *does* work... ish...

does not work for me either,e ven with updated questinfo which is already fixed. objectives and quests don't work, only questinfo works.

Ok for ppl who want Questinfo and Quests to work here is the fix

Ok Here is how you get Cartographer_ Questinfo and Cartographer_Quests to work

(Quoted from "Moncai") It is broken because LoadOnDemad does not function properly in the current patch. You Will probably have to reverse the .toc changes after next patch
Open the .toc files with notepad

To fix, edit Cartographer_Notes\Cartographer_Notes.toc to read:
## LoadOnDemand: 0

And edit Cartographer_QuestInfo\Cartographer_QuestInfo.toc to read (only lines to be modified are shown):
## Interface: 30000
## RequiredDeps: Cartographer, Cartographer_Notes
## OptionalDeps: Cartographer_Quests, Cartographer_QuestObjectives, LibQuixote-2.0, LibGratuity-3.0

Then to get Cartographer_Quests working first you need to get the new lib for the Quests addon to work. You can find this in the Cartographer_Questinfo\Libs\LibGratuity-3.0

Copy the LibGratuity-3.0 folder to the Cartographer_Quests\Libs folder
Then open the Cartographer_Quests.toc file with notepad. Change whats in the file to look like this and your done.

To get rid of an error message from Cartographer_Quests do this
go to the Cartographer_Quests folder in your addons folder and open the file called addon.lua with Notepad. Then press ctrl+F on your keyboard and type in Babble. The line below should come up

-- local BZ = AceLibrary("Babble-Zone-2.2")

What you should do now is change the above to whats below
local BZ = AceLibrary("LibBabble-Zone-3.0")

Then you copy the LibBabble-3.0 folder (Which you can find in \Interface\Addons\Cartographer\Libs\LibBabble-Zone-3.0)

into the Cartographer_Quests\Libs\

And thats it no more error message

And there you go and working Cartographer_Questsinfo and Cartographer_Quests, Cartographer_QuestObjectives should still work

Can U tell me exactly what this does? Does it mark the quest on my map as I get them or are they already on there?

EDIT: And am I able to use mods that are made for version 2.2 when I'm still usein' 2.1.3?

I have tried Cartographer and I agree on leveling up Meta Maps is much better. But I've already added 1000's of Quest locations in my Metamaps

I am almost done inputing all the quest in meta Maps witch will have the Quest Name, Info on what to do, And if its a Chain Quest I added a Not to the next Part in the chain and location.

When I'm completed it I will start working on Cartographer

I love cartographer for when your level 70. As for leveling up, I'd rather use metamap. Why? Because meta map as a feature where you can post quests on the right pane of the map and whenever you click on a quest it dots it on the map. How come cartographer doesnt have a feature like that? I dont believe this quest feature will cut it. Just because you can see the quest giver doesnt mean you wont go to wowhead to figure the quest out.

I honestly think you should discountinue this quest feature and add something like metamaps quest list. Allowing the players to see all the quests they have put up and click on it to create a waypiont of some sort can put cartographer on top of the download list.

Im playing a level 13 BE rogue and I'm using metamap so that I can list my quests for my future BE paladin.

I enabled addon yet I see no notes, I beleave this is because I have not talked to quest giver, perhaps add an option to ping all active quests and add the markers to the map?

looks like a great addon, havinf the quest's destination (where mobs are or the item we need to get) would help alot. Needs more documentation and a way to have players contribute to the DB (you can't do it alone).
