  • About qAH Improved
  •

qAHImproved is a very small addon, operating fine with or without Auctioneer, to provide the following AH Improvements:

1. Adds a column to the Browse view, showing the price each for both buyout and bid prices

2. Adds a button to sort the Browse view by either Bid or Buyout price

3. Remembers the prices of items you've auctioned before

4. Remembers the duration of the last auction you set

5. Makes the AH frame movable

6. (NEW FOR 3.1): has separate price input boxes for price-per-item as well as price-per-stack. If you enter a value in one, the corresponding value is automatically calculated, for both bid price and buyout price.

I'll take a look at this, see if 3.1 broke something. I haven't been doing much auctioning lately.

Thanks! It would be very great, much appreciated. I'd die without that function, really :P

Spending triple time at AH since it's broken.

"3. Remembers the prices of items you've auctioned before" -does not work for me in 3.1.

It seems the addon saves the prices correctly into the lua but it does not use that price next time. The blizz deault price is offered everytime no matter if that item is already saved to the lua or not.

I actually can not sort by item price. The sort functions are built into the wow api and there is no sport-by-item-price function available. The only alternative would be to scan the entire contents of any given query (ala Auctioneer's scan mode), then present a custom display of the scanned info.

    I love this addon :)
Any way to make it short results by price per item?
    Could it be implemented perhaps?

I can't reproduce that behavior. It's remembering all prices correctly for me. - Quel

  • Close, but not quite there yet - using the v30000c release, it is successfully remembering the Start auction price but not the duration or Buyout price.

Test : Sell 1 stack runecloth for 48h at 7g70s start, 8g00s buyout then exit WoW. When coming back in, it has reset the screen to 12h 7g70s 7g70s

  • I agree with Khakhan - it is forgetting old prices and settings (12/24/48h) once you change characters. I am using the latest 10/22/2008 version.

Wanted to say thank you for such a useful bloatfree addon :)

Also an idea for a future feature that I (and I suspect many others) would find tremendously time saving. A way to split stacks of items automatically. There's nothing more time consuming and frustrating than than having to split a stack of shards, dust or gems because you want to sell them singly, or in small groups (say stacks of 5).

Thanks for updating it, a new problem has cropped up though. It doesn't seem to remember old auction prices. For example, I auction 2 of my 3 [Dawnstone]s in a row and it will remember the price for the 2nd one. However, if I auction something else inbetween the 2nd and 3rd [Dawnstone] the default price will come back.

New feature requests: While in AH frame adding items from your bag to the Create Auction frame with a Right click or shift right click (or anything besides dragging it over)

Ability to lock/unlock the AH frame after you've moved it.

I found an issue where the price per item column would sometimes get stale. Here is an easy way to replicate:

    * Do a search on the AH - try felweed for example.

    * Once the results come back, sort by buyout price. The items without buyouts should float to the top. The price per item for the items with no buyout show the price per bid. Those with both bid/price show price per for both.

    * Scroll down the list of items and prices but stay on the first page.

    * Scroll back up to the top of the page. You will now see the initial auctions with no buyout have a price per buyout price.

It looks like the column refreshes correctly if an item has PPBO (price per buyout). However, if you scroll back to an item without one, the data doesn't seem to be cleared. This results in items without buyouts with PPBOs. I wish I had a screenshot to show you, but the explanation should suffice for now.
    * If you scroll back to the top, any of the items that had no buyout price

I've used this for a long time, can you plz fix the max duration bug? 48hrs is the new max, since it wasn't updated post the change to new max duration all auctions marked at 48hrs are actually only up for 24hrs.

  • I too am having the following problem with the v30000 release...

    1. When creating an auction, the icon of the thing you are auctioning does not appear in the auction details window. You can still successfully create an auction - you just can't see the icon of the item you are about to list until it is listed.

    2. Once you have listed one item, the Create Auction button stays lit up. You can press it again without adding any other items into the screen and it gives the following error...

    qAHImproved\qAHImproved.lua:42: table index is nil
    Blizzard_AuctionUI\Blizzard_AuctionUI.lua:1453: in function 'AuctionsCreateAuctionButton_OnClick' :"*:OnClick":1: in function <[string "*:OnClick"]:1>

  • Just note for your point 1, same problem with Auctioneer (problem it probably blizzard side or other addon interference [like someone mess with variable name])

I am having an issue on the Auctions tab where I cannot see the item I am pricing once I drag it into the slot. The AH window shows me a default price, but the item cannot be seen. Once I put it on the AH, it is shown as normal. It is only when I am setting the price that I cannot see it.
