  • About PallyPower
  •

Pally Power is an add-on that provides an interactive and easy to use interface that allows you to control assignments of blessings for yourself and, if you are a party leader or an assistant, for other paladins in your group or raid. You don't need to be a paladin to control raid/party blessings.

Buff button controls are:
Aura button:
    Mouse Scroll = change aura
RF button:
    Left click = cast RF
    Right click = cast seal
    Shift + Mouse scroll = RF on/off
    Mouse scroll = change seal
Auto-button:
Left click = 30 minute buff, auto-target people w/o buff or low buff time remaining
Right click = 10 minute buff, auto-target people w/o buff or low buff time remaining, buff either the same as class or personal if assigned
Class buttons:
Left click = 30 minute buff, auto target
Right click = 10 minute buff, auto target
    Mouse scroll = change buff
Shift + mouse scroll = change buffs for all classes
Player buttons:
Left click = 30 minute buff, targets the person you click
Right click = 10 minute buff, targets the person you click, buff either the same as class or personal if assigned
Mouse scroll = change personal 10-minute buff

In combat all auto-targetting and buff selection features are disabled and player buttons are the only way to re-cast blessings.
To access PallyPower blessing assignment interface please use either a command "/pp config" or Broker_PallyPower add-on.

Assignment window controls are:
    Right click = clear blessing
Left click or mouse scroll = cycle blessing
Shift + mouse scroll = cycle blessings for all classes at the same time
Clear = removes all assignments from you or paladins you control
Refresh = rebuild your buff bar with new assignments + request a report from other paladins about their assignments
Options = opens the options menu with tons of customization options and layout controls.
Personal 10 minute blessings controls:
1) Drag and drop = pick a person name and drop it onto a desired class. (Example: Drag cat druid and drop it on rogue class icon to assign the same blessings).
2) Menu selection = select person for 10-minute buff, select paladin who's going to do the blessing, select a blessing.
3) Mouse wheel on the player button

    Either
    1) Options, Buff Buttons, Layout -> Layout X
    or
    2) Options, Buff Buttons, Layout -> Standard and Options, Buff Buttons, Class Buttons -> 1, 3, 7, 9 (one of them)

  • Love this for my Paly. Is there a similar addon for Shammy Totems?

  • While investigating a disconnect issue (which is definitely addon related, as the disconnects do not occur when addons are disabled), using the addon FuBar_AddonSpamFu, I found that PallyPower (and ZOMGBuffs due to the interfacing w/ PallyPower) transmits an extremely large amount of data (probably more than necessary). The only other addon that has even near the amount of traffic is Carbonite.

I think you may want to look into this, as it seems that people are beginning to make forum posts complaining about similar issues.

I would not call 50Kb over 3+hours "an extremely large amount of data".
So unless some paladins keeps clicking 'Refresh' every second for 3 hours straight, there should be no issue with PallyPower.
You're getting 100x times more data passes to you by the server as a part of the combat lot.

Would it be possible to add full LibSharedMedia support for background textures, border textures and font?

May I request also an auto-hide option to set the alpha to 0 when the mouse is not hovering over PallyPower frame?

    Thank you very much!

I am having difficulty getting this to work on my Mac. I have unzipped it and pasted it into my Addons folder yet it does not work. Any ideas?

New release didn't noticed all my raid were in range, and didn't work with PP.

Was forced to emergency switch to PP in mid raid.

Hi. thanks for a great addon. I was watching a tankspot movie and noticed that his pallypower class buttons were above the aura, rf buttons, seeming expanding upwards instead of down.
Is this a built in feature as i've tried everything in the options and can't get it to do that.

    Thanks in advance

There are different layout settings in the option menu (Options - Buff Buttons).
With the standard layout you can customize direction of class button rollout and other things.
Or use the predefined layouts 1-4.

  • I thought PP used to show the number of regeants left on the click bar...

Anyway, can you put the number of regeants ya have left next to the Aura?

  • for the last few release versions I have experienced what I can only describe as blessing drop off; when I bless they either imediately dissappear or do so s few seconds after applyin them per class. It ranges from casters in the in the initial problems to even my own class too.. not sure this is a very clear explanation but I expected it was to do with my other addons but I revert to an older version of PP an all is okay only to install a new updated version to have the problem start again. If you need more precise details please ask, I know I've not been exactly specific or sucinct.

    Hello,
I had an idea for ui design.
Could you add an option to auto hide during combat?
For exemple, every buttons' classe would hide and only the RF/seal would stay so we can mouseover to unhide it.
If you had time for this, it would be really great!
Otherwise, thank you for this really usefull addon!

You may want to try auto-hide for class buttons.

  • I was thinking about pally power while reading a thread about pally buffs...

Would it be possible to have the buff icon next to a player name in pallypower so that when I click the icon, it sets all the buffs for that pally to kings, if I click again it sets all for that pally to might; again, wisdom; again, sanct; again, blank.

You could also include a raid warning button on it that informed all the pallies that pally power had been set and these were there buffs.

Of all the non-essential addons, I love this one the most.

Read "Personal 10 minute blessings controls" in the description of the mod.

  • Interesting! Thanks.

What I meant though is like this... Say we have two pallies in the raid, Grim and Azna. I'm prot, you're ret. And both of us are set to might across the the board. It would be nice if there was a control next to each of our names that work the same way as controls in the class columns do.. If I click the icon to scroll to kings next to Grim, all of Grim's blessings for all classes are set to Kings. If I click again, it sets all of Grim's blessings to say wisdom, again sanct.
