    A lot of bugs, just can't do one of the basic things: resize (cntrl + click + mousewheel) pops up an error screen... I don't see where it is up to date. MoveAnything hasn't been updated since last year and doesn't have errors like this one.

    This may be a Curse issue but the link to download the newest 30100.1 version actually attempts to download the older 30000.1 version. When it gets to where it will download the correct, newest version I will be back as I have used it before and found it useful. Thanks.

    Tooltip move isn't working, causes other issues, Tipsy for position, Cowtip for size.

    Also, bags were working ok but now bag 1 goes to the right side of the screen, taking 2-4 with it. The main bag is OK. I can move bag 1 back to place, but then it stays in edit mode and wont release. Relog usually fixes but sometimes its messed up again. And it seems like if I relog one toon a few times, it stays, then I log another one and its off again.

    There seems to be a conflict with the Dominos addon for action bars. I disabled all addons except MoveIT and it works perfectly. When I reloaded with just Dominos and MoveIT, the bags moved all over the place, and the bag bar is unmoveable. Sometimes correcting the bag locations locks up MoveIT, and relog often but not always puts the bags back into the bottom right again.

    Dominos lets you adjust the bag buttons, so I can see why it conflicts, but it doesn't let you adjust bags, not sure why the conflict.

    The funny thing is it worked for a while, but now its broke.... I really like Dominos because it has 8 bars that work just like Blizzards, only you can set any one of them horizontal or vertical, move and resize them.

    Is there anyway to get the two right action bars to lay horizontally above the standard bars?

  • I had to disable it due to it closing windows after a few seconds.

  • I'm having trouble too, i've been getting value nil errors when trying to move and resize frames. I've also been having trouble with the current target frame, (I moved it before the trouble started) it often dissapears a few seconds after selecting a target. The monster is still targeted, i can attack, but portrait and lifebar are gone. This started after the latest December patch.

  • Found a fix for the disappearing-world-map issue, which I too was having. Keep in mind I'm still using v20003.6 as that's the last one that worked for me that still allowed easy-mode frame dragging; this may work for newer versions, hopefully someone will come to the rescue in that department (looks over at CommanderAngry). Here goes...

    1. Install MoveIt v20003.6, this requires two downloads as the older version included separate GUI download; it's all in the above file downloads list.

    2. Open AddOns\MoveIt\MoveIt.lua in a text editor, and find the following line...

    if ( ( (name == "UIOptionsFrame") and (not MoveIt_Fix_UIOptionsFrame) ) or ( (name == "WorldMapFrame") and (not MoveIt_Fix_WorldMapFrame) ) ) then return; end

    ...and replace it with this one:

    if ( ( (name == "UIOptionsFrame") and (not MoveIt_Fix_UIOptionsFrame) ) or ( name == "WorldMapFrame" ) ) then return; end

    3. Open the file AddOns\MoveIt.xml and delete the forth line which reads:

    Commander Angry: THanks for the fix, was able to get the addon to work after I followed your instructions. However there is one bug that appears for me, when I press the map key "m" I cant view the map. There is just a blank screen.
    Have a clean install of WoW atm so it's no other addons which is causing it, any ideas what could be done to sort it out?

  • Sorry, somehow my previous comment got jumbled with the other poster's comment. : /

    Anyway, in the MoveIt.xml file, delete the 4th line which contains...

    Script file="MoveIt_UIOptionsFrame.lua"

    ...and then restart WoW. These steps remove all mention of the function that moves the world map frame, which of course makes the worldmap unmovable, but at least it functions properly. Hope this helps.

  • Couldn't reproduce any problems with the map with just MoveIT installed. You can try digging through the XML and lua files and looking for any references to the map frame(s) and commenting them out. Line 125 in MoveITGUI.lua is one place where the world map frame is referenced, although I didn't do any further searching to see where those names are actually used.

    The last resort of course is to delete both the WTF/ and Interface/ folders to force WoW to rebuild both of them. Typically I make backup copies of both so I can pull things over that I need (like chat-cache.txt and layout-cache.txt) before I delete the others.

    Sorry I couldn't be more helpful on this one. I'm just not familiar enough with the code base to offer any real insight on what might be going on.
