Malsumis® WoW Font Changer v0.9b

1. What is it ?

A simple program to change the default WoW Fonts(that include the main UI font, the damage font, the mail and quest log fonts, Player, NPCs, Guild names font, etc).

If people show interest in it I will continue improving and developing it.

Please comment and give feedback.

Thank you.

2. How to use it ?

If you don't want to install Java, simply extract the windows version and run Malsumis® WoW Font Changer.exe(works with Windows XP/Vista/7-tested).
Then follow the instructions shown on the screen.

If you are not using Windows OS, or you just like the Java version more and have Java installed on your PC simply extract the Cross-platform Java version and start Malsumis Font Changer.jar(works with Windows XP/Vista/7-tested, Mac(to run this on a Mac, open /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences, and drag Java SE 6 to the top of the bottom list) and Linux-not tested). Then you should get a warning that its trying to access your file system, you should allow that.
Then follow the instructions shown on the screen.

3. Who made it and where can I get new versions from?

Atm it is only hosted on WoWInterface.com, Curse.com. I don't take any responsibility for files with the same name downloaded by a different locations!

Scoty <The Devastating Throng> @ EU-Neptulon.

*Note that the program can't access fonts in the ...\WINDOWS\Fonts folder! If you want to use a font from there, simply copy it somewhere else.

Ok, I think the most important feature you MUST insert :-) is an option to switch back. I have tried a police but it is too small, so I am a bit stuck right now :p

I really like the product here but its missing one main feature. Maybe you can tell me how to do it manually but an option in your GUI would be great.

I have been using clearfont2 for two reasons, one to change the font and one to override the scal size.

I play wow on a 61" LED DLP & and 52 LED LCD on I change the font for clarity but also to enlarge the main wow fonts to make it easier to read.

I have ditched Clearfont2 for you up-to date utility.

But the biggest request I have to to make so I can enlarge a scale for the font. Second if we could do this from inside of wow to make changes on the fly even better.

I have been dying for a add-on to get this correct adn Clearfont2 did but it was old, very old. Thanks much for making an great up to date font add-on.

Please make a scale UI option so I can put Clearfont2 out of its misery.

    Thanks,

    1Way

    A letter from curseforge:

We're sorry, your file, Malsumis WoW Font Changer - Malsumis Font Changer v0.9b (http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/malsumis-wow-font-changer/files/4-malsumis-font-changer-v0-9b/), has been rejected for approval on CurseForge.

    The reason for rejection is:
Your layout is invalid. You should have one or more folders at the top level, with a .toc in each folder with the same name as the folder itself.

If you have any questions or comments about this, feel free to create a report: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/malsumis-wow-font-changer/files/4-malsumis-font-changer-v0-9b/report/

I am wondering how to do that when this is not even a LUA addon. Last time when I uploaded an .exe you guys asked for the source, I wonder what is wrong now ?

I'm having problem getting the font I want to the WoW folder. I think I'm doing it wrong. Any chance we could get a proper step by step instruction? I will check the one from WoWInterface.com and see if you have it there. Thanks

First d/l the 0.3b one and I was getting error then I d/l the o.9b version. No error, after completing the procedures, but I didn't see any font changes?. I use a vista home premium. Do I make a "Fonts" folder in the interface folder and put all the fonts there?
