Are you tired of deleting all the crap items from your inventory that you get from looting corpses? Or are you tired of having to manually click the items you want from a corpse? • This addon is broken currently, causing constant error popups, and deleting of crap that I have not specified it to delete. I'm deleting this addon and won't recommend it to anyone.

Still works perfectly for me. Haven't had an issue in months short of the out-of-date warning, which is easily corrected. It only deletes what I tell it to and maintains my bags down to 5 empty slots. Not sure why anyone else is having issues.

I've had some stuff that has been deleted which very much should not have been deleted, but I'm not convinced it wasn't due to my own settings, in particular the delete items worth less than x option. My biggest problem is with the option to confirm deleting an object. If I turn it on, it just keeps asking and asking and asking, regardless of my answer, and does not delete the item. For this reason, I must turn it off to use loot filter. Doing so, of course, means if I'm not careful, say, when I'm milling herbs for inscription, it may wind up deleting pigments while I burn through, hypothetically of course, two or three stacks of liferoot before I notice it is deleting golden pigments because their value is perceived as too low.

The confirm on delete option has GOT to be fixed or this thing can eff you see kay a guy's hard work.

    From lootfilter.com's provided documentation:
"Cleaning will only delete items that you explicity [sic] want to delete. This means items that match any delete properties. Items that do not match any properties will not be deleted."

Frankly, that's a lie. I lost several quest items and quest rewards that aren't replaceable due to trusting your incorrect documentation. I've deleted the addon, and won't be recommending it to anyone.

  • Same exact thing happened to me, my sis was running me through VC and I only selected to delete grey items and half my inventory was gone! no hearth stone... and I'm freaken horde stuck in westfall.. all my bandages, quest items, water, food, and pots are gone.. I was lucky to stop it before deleting my blues and the other half of my inventory..

You could just open up LootFilter.toc in a text editor and change the line Interface: 30100 to Interface: 30200
Although, it's not really updated, but you won't have to set "Load out of date addons" each time you log on.

  • When will Loot Filter be compatible with 3.2?

    BUMP

Please fix the "bug" where the items in the "delete item list" isnt the highest priority, it should, no matter what option is selected, ALWAYS delete/sell the items in the "delete item list".

    Thanks, great addon.

  • it seems to work so far for me, as long as i don't have it confirm item delete. if i check that box then it constantly pops up the confirm box.

one of my fav/most used addons when its working, but its more buggy than all my other addons combined, sometimes it just doesn't work...anyone who says its stupid because it deletes quest items because of the clean tab or whatever are noobs, atleast read how to setup it up first, it takes less than 30 seconds, and the clean tab TELLS you exactly what its going to delete (exactly what you set it to).
wish there was an "absolute" delete list filter, it doesn't work if you've say added all potions to keep and want to delete a potion in the delete list...maybe not alot of bugs but some major ones and still not a complete loot filter list but its the best one out that I know of...if you want to skin things anyways...

Considering I read their documentation, which explicitly states that the Clean tab only deletes items that match the delete criteria, and not items that do not match any rules, I don't consider myself a "n00b" to actually have believed it.
