  • About KillingSpree
  •

This addon announces consecutive killing blows audibly and visually.

You can ignore PVE kills, set a timer for multi kills, disable sounds/visuals, use CombatText/MSBT/SCT/Parrot, show/broadcast your multi/spree records and view a list of your current kills.

It doesn't work at all as of the new WoW update. It makes me sad. :( I loved this add-on.

Finally got WoW going again so Ill get it working soon.

  • Somehow this doesn't work right. It correctly announces multikills, but no killing sprees. All it does is saying 'headshot', but never something like 'dominating'. However this works in PvE. But besides that it often triggers even if I didn't had the killing blow. With PvP check off it always triggers in PvE (even if a mage does AoE and I'm doing nothing). So not working as intended - at least not as what I expected. :/

  • I'm sorry! The spree announcement actually does work. Was a problem with my wow sound settings - prolly not enough channels.
But still the problem with the false killing blow triggers remains. Would be nice if you could look into it. Nice work! :)

I play a healer class mostly so it might not work 100%. Slain check being ticked should stop it from showing anything but your own killing blows.

    That worked.

Funny that I needed an add on to fix my add on though.

I love this addon, but I would love it a lot more if you'd get rid of the hideous female voices. UGH! I would be happy with just the regular male voice.

For some reason the Killing Spree min-map icon decided to park itself right on top of Blizzards "tracking" icon when I installed this version.

Now I can't see the Track Minerals, Track Demons etc. and just the crosshairs from Killing Spree. There seems to be nothing in the options to move the KS mini-map icon from the options and I can't grab it and move it from the "Tracking" overlap.

    Help?

  • Hi, addon seems great in theory. However for some reason or another it won't work for me. All I get is an annoying sound file play every attack thats abit like a clock ding. Any ideas?

Also, can we PLEASE have some information on how to open the menu for this so I can look into any problems I might have individually that way.

    Cheers

  • very nice too bad there is no info on how to open the menu (and no readme inside the folders)
    Thanks ;)

I give up trying to get this to work. I don't know what additional addons are needed to get this to work. But thanks for the earlier versions.

Works for me, but it really needs an option for kid friendly taunts. Some of them really got me in trouble with my sons mother :-( Or just put an adult only warning on it?? I had to uninstall it, which sucked, as my kid and I both loved this mod!!!

If social (chat) profanity filter is enabled via Blizzards Interface Options when this addon loads it wont display anything rude. If its enabled after this addon loads then youll have to type /rl to reload the UI.

I might make it a per character option instead.
