I bumped the TOC field for WoW 3.1 now.

And it worked just fine without it, learn to check "Load out-of-date addons" in the addons screen before claiming it doesn't work.
Please switch to wowmatrix. tyvm
You can't "switch" to wowmatrix. They don't host files. They just leech off of other sites' bandwidth, suppress their ads, and show their own ads instead.

I.e. they make money out of.. next to nothing.. while stealing bandwidth (which costs actual real-life money, and lots of it) off of the real hosting sites. Guess why us authors don't like it? We want the hosting sites to be able to stay in business!

Open Source means you have access to the source, not that you have to get someone's client to be able to download it... it is about time they did it and more sites need to do it. I know if I find the addon I wrote on it I will be requesting that they remove it from their lists

Learn to update manually, WowMatrix has been profiting off other people's work and should have been blocked years ago. Also, if you're so lazy that you can't update a SINGLE add-on manually you don't deserve to use it.

Hope there will be an update for 3.1

• I'm also hoping for an update; this add-on stopped working with the 3.1.0 patch, and it's one of those little things that makes the game that much more enjoyable.

Just a note for others like me who have been frustrated by the lack of prices on items added in WotLK:

ItemPrice-1.1, which is the database backend used by this addon has already been update with nearly all the items in Northrend. However, a new version of ItemPriceTooltip incorporating the new database has not been posted. In order to see prices on the newest items, you'll have to manually update the database. This database is stored in \ItemPriceTooltip\Libs\ItemPrice-1.1\

Download the newest version of LibItemPrice here:

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/itemprice-1-1.aspx

Overwrite the files in the directory above, and you will now have access to the newest database in-game.

Thanks to Mikk for picking up maintainence on this addon, and hopefully a new version with the updated ItemPrice-1.1 library will be posted soon.

• I thank you as well, Mikk. I've tried every other price addon, and even after alot of work and code changes, none have compared to ItemPriceTooltip.
I hope you continue your maintenance on this necessary addon.

I just read what Bam wrote below, so I'll be going right ahead and picking up minimal maintenance on this project. Arrowmaster is doing the same for LibItemPrice (the actual backend price database).

Posting here is NOT the way to get my attention; use the ticketing system.

Going back to 'SellFish' then... :(

• Well hello Bam!
It's sad to hear you may not update the only mod I use :(
To be honest, It think the only thing I wouldn't understand on how I would update it myself is how you mine and maintain the itemprice library. If you are going to leave us, could you inform us on how to maintain this essential library?

OMG!! I never knew about this page at all. So I had no idea there were all these unanswered questions! Sorry!

I am afraid I don't have the best of news. A number of changes have happened at the same time. First, I don't play WoW currently and haven't for several months. I don't know if I return soon or at all. Second, as you may know, I used to manage my addons via WoWAce. But recently WoWAce, Curse, and CurseForge have changed considerably and merged or something like that. I am quite frankly seriously confused about where my addons are right now and from where I manage them. I never put them on Curse myself. :)

Last but not least, I don't have much time right now to do anything related to WoW or addons. I've tried to search for some proper guides for how to deal with all of this. I've not found any good information sadly. Let me know if you find any.

So I actually have no clue if my addon works or not. But it seems somebody from WoWAce updated it recently and said it worked. You could give it a try. Alternatively you can give Tuller's SellFish a try.

I'll report back when/if I figure out some more. Thanks.

If you want the latest version of this mod you can do the following.

1. Install a SubVersion client, I just choose this random one from the many different ones out there: http://www.sliksvn.com/en/download

2. Make a new folder on your drive (ex. C:\mods\ItemSellPrice).

3. Open a CMD prompt and cd to the folder. Then type in this command:
svn co svn://svn.wowace.com/wow/item-price-tooltip/mainline/trunk

4. After svn is done downloading all the files, copy the ItemSellPrice folder to your WoW\Interface\Addons folder

So is there a discussion about this mod somewhere that I don't know about? What is the status? Is it going to be updated or not? Just curious if we should start looking elsewhere.

• So where do I download the newer version that's on wowace, when wowace directs here to download and its not here yet?
