3.2.7 has a changed communication version and will not talk to previous versions

3.2.7 also brings '/holdem dealers' and '/holdem clients'. This will request from guild/party/raid all current dealers or clients respectively.

I am now making use of curseforge's localization. If you are interested in helping localise for your lanaguage (or another!) please drop by the addon's localization page at curseforge... every bit helps, as soon as a localization reaches around 70% I will implement it in game. Thanks

My notes/observations:-

You can close the game window with the spade button and the game will carry on, when it's your time to do something the minimap icon will flash.

Both the game and mini map icon are draggable with left click.

This version has no compability with previous versions, the communication is totally different.

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

I've heard troubling rumors that there is a keylogger associated with this addon. Can anyone answer definitavely? I've done some independant research and found that there IS in fact a keylogger associated with an addon that works WITH this one called "WoW Holdem Flop Odds". So, stay the hell away from that. But I would love an answer as to whether this addon is secure in and of itself. I generally trust Curse, so....

It is not possible for an addon to payload a keylogger, for several reasons. The first one being that ALL addons are loaded after you log into the game, not before (ie, the loading screen, not the user/pass screen). Second, addons are text files, not executable code. Third, WoW is sandboxed, with no internet access other than to Blizzard. And finally, there is no code available to even create a virus, keylogger, trojan, etc.

So no, this, and every other addon, is safe. If you are downloading an addon that ends in .exe, THEN worry.

My wow account was hacked 3 days after I DL'd this addon. It was the first time my acc has been hacked and Ive had it for 5 years. I do not visit ANY wow sites besides this one, the official wow site, mmo champion, wow-heroes and wowhead. I am not saying there is a keylogger in this addon but is there a way that someone could access my pc via this addon?

You can only play with other people who have the addon and that you know have the addon, so generally you'd have to know them. However, the addon does let you search for guildies/raid/party members who also have it.

Hi, with the new version we´ve played a tournament with 3 players. In the first game there was no error. So we closed the game as usual und startet a new round. Then everytime the first acting player could not call during the first round of the match - fold or all in was possible. We restarted the Mod and again the same problem. Maybe place number 8 is buggy because the players on this seat got the error.

Could you tell me a bit more information please?
How many people were playing?
Did they all have the same version?
What did you do before pressing Play or SitOut?

Sorry to be a pain, but if I can't duplicate, I can't fix.

On the plus side I did find another error in trying to find this one and am releasing a fix for it.

That probably explains why I couldn't repeat, I only had 1 dealer and 1 other

The curse system is strange, you actually can (and you replied to a previous comment of mine) when you press reply nothing much changes, but the web pages knows where you pressed so when you press add it attaches your comment to the right place.

After looking very carefully I "think" the dealer has a previous version which had a problem handling the seat number.

Otherwise can't locate a problem in the current code, but will happily look again if you are able to find more info.

But now the Holdem logo isn't showing up near the minimap, it's not doing anything to the /holdem commands, and I've got a strange error:

same prob. I just tried it with pal of mine. I disabled all other AddOns because of the error messages and the lag. When pal connected, Play button disappeared.

First Image: Alone in the deckboard, can push Play button and can right-click my portrait for poker options.
