  • About Heal Organizer
  •

This add-on helps organizing the healers in your raid by allowing the user to drag and drop healers into different assignments. Assignments can be as complex or simple as the user wishes.

= Quick Start =

  1. Open Heal Organizer by using the slash command: /healorganizer, /hlorg, or /ho
  2. Click on the default assignments (%MT1%, %MT2%, …etc) to change wording
  3. Drag and drop healers into assignments
  4. Optionally enable whispering assignments by clicking “Whisper healers…”
  5. Click “Raid”/”Channel” in the “Broadcast” section to publish the healing assignments.

= Usage =

  • Assignments can use %MT1% through %MT10% as replacement strings for main tank names. Main tanks can be set via CT_Raid enabled add-ons like Ora2.
  • Any unassigned healer automatically takes on the “Remaining” assignment, but will not be whispered.
  • There is a key binding registered under the WoW standard key binding interface. (Press ESC => Keybindings, to bring it up).

= Autofill =

Hover over an empty slot and use your mouse wheel. It will cycle through the following labels:

  • Empty
  • Priest
  • Druid
  • Paladin/Shaman

= Saving Sets =

You can define 30 sets which can be saved, loaded and deleted. Each set saves the assignment text and class for each assignment. It does not save the healers’ names as players are likely to change between raids.

= Slash Commands =

/ho dialog

This will open the heal organizer dialogue. This can be used in a macro or you can just setup a key binding via the standard WoW key binding interface (ESC => Keybindings, look near the end).

/ho autosort

This option toggles whether players will be sorted by class/name within groups. This is only useful if the order you assign healers denotes things like backup healers or secondary healers.

= SVN/Contributing =

Contributions/suggestions are always welcome, but it doesn’t mean I will always use/implement them. Please feel free to contact me! For source contributions please provide a diff.

Hey Raegx, Could you do this type of thing for vehicle assignments as well? I have scoured the addons sites for this and one to do a drag and drop vehicle assigner.

doubble assignment is possible with Healing Groups Sucks Continued

  • Question: is there a way in this mod to assign a healer to more than one target? Example: Healer 1 to MT1 and Dispel or Healer 2 to MT3 and MT4? That's the only thing I see missing from an otherwise exceptional addon. Would love to use this in Ulduar. If this is possible already, can someone point it out for me? Thanks!

  • I'd also like to request that if the "Request" field is blank, it omits that line and doesn't show anything for that part when you broadcast it.

Really like this addon .. couple of things however that I would love to see added.

The mousewheel selection doesn't include shaman.. could you add that? Also, I would love to see a selection for "Any". and have the autofill put any available healer into that spot.

It would also be great if you could indicate certain people that are not healers.. like shadow priests and so forth. Perhaps an option to not add available healing classes to the list if they are not spec'd for healing.

Well raegx verion 2.3.2 appeared to fix all known issues... Recount is working, the 'heal' feature works. 3 cheers for a sweet ass addon.

Thanks a lot for this great addon. I have a feature request, before 3.0.2 I could not set "main tank" in the blizard ui properly, not that you can it would be great if HO would support these main tank settings for the MT string tokens. That way you don#t need Ora2/CTraid assist anymore to set the main tanks.
PS: I had the recount issue too, didn't narrow it down to HO though.

Just as a heads up, I do plan on forging ahead and develop something I wish HO always had, which is the ability to setup assignments based on phases. Fights like Illidan/Kael pre-nerf had many assignments and it was never HO's strong point.

Something else I always wanted was the ability to "grey out" or "hide" non-healers. I don't know if it will do a talent scan to automatically do it, but at least a way to lessen the appearance of ele/enh shamans, prot/ret paladins, shadow priests, etc.

Well thanks for maintaining the addon I'm gonna try and disable some others and hopefully that will help.

New version, hopefully any issues have been resolved with recount / "heal" whispers. A few of the embedded libraries were updated.

For Recount issues, I loaded my UI with HO and Recount only and fresh gets via the Curse client. Any further issues I am going to have to say that it is other mod conflicts and not just HO.

The recount issue we are having is, accessing it at all. If I turn off HO I can access recounts GUI, but while both are enabled I can not see recount using the same versions you posted.

    Does

    /recount toggle

    work?

No sir /recount toggle or /recount show dont work or any recount command for that matter.

Also Im finding that when healers whisper me 'heal' it doesn't reply with their assignment.
